We had a terrific experience here assisted by the lovely Mafalda, the hostess of the hotel. it is a unique property, a mansion that dates back to the 14th Century and the hotel rooms area from the mansion, so each one is unique. And they have made little apartments of each so you get a place to sit, which we loved, and a little kitchen. Since we were here on the off season, we happily received an upgrade to a spacious one bedroom where we were very comfortable. Great bed and pillows. And all the features worked very well. Excellent central location, which was one of the selling points. We hope to come back.

It is a 14th century refurbished establishment. One would be awed with the service levels experienced. We were warmly greeted by Mafalda and given all required information. It was simply wow to meet her. As this trip is for celebrating our wedding anniversary, we were humbly upgraded with a bottle of wine. A much appreciated gesture. She also made sure our parking was in order and gave us options if we wanted a free parking. We kept the paid parking during our stay. The room was spacious , clean and packed with all essentials from vanity kit , to even bathroom slippers and a shower cap. It also has a pool and a comfortable area to sit and enjoy your coffee with drinks. We had a wonderful stay and above all awesome to meet and interact with Mafalda Happy staying

Of all the botique hotels, this one takes the prize for botique-ness. As a nod to European decimal system, rooms are numbered 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.1... etc. | The building used to belong to a local courtier cum diplomat and the architecture reflects it: vaulted ceilings, solid wood floors, stone paved courtyard. Despite its antique bones, the amenities are thoroughly 21st century: nice kitchenet, modern bath, TV, WiFi, gourmet coffee. | The staff is courteous and helpful. And I don't mean just helping you bring your luggage in, no. The front desk is absolutely invaluable in helpung you find free parking within walking distance, reserving a spot at a local eatery, helping you find warm pastries for breakfast, and probably a few dozen other things that did not even occur to us.

A perfect renovated 15th century mansion to find respite in from the roads, heat and history of Evora. Amazing staff, a pool and super comfy rooms and beds. One of the best accomodations we've found through booking.com
