We enjoyed our stay here. There were positives and negatives. Negatives: The rooms are very, very dated and weren't the most comfortable. We paid for half board and although the food was okay, it got very repetitive, very quickly. A little more info at check in would have been appreciated (re. laundry, the wellness facility, access paths). Positives: Fantastic location with many on the doorstep activities and served well by local buses. Good breakfast. Lovely views. Staff were nice. Lovely pool and a great gym. We hired a tennis court too which was fab.

We checked in at 7pm. The porter had left at 5:30 pm. We were assigned to a 3 digit room number beginning with a 2. There were no elevators and we had to drag all our bags thru a tunnel system from the parking garage up 16 flights of stairs. There is no way a person with any mobility issues could have dragged their bags this far. When we asked for porter service for 7am the next morning we were told the porter does not come in until 9am.|Hidden fees included parking and a cash room tax per person.|There are other choices in Garmisch....I would not recommend this hotel.

Quite an aged resort but we loved it! The room was large, a door leading to the a little paved outside area with views of the Olympic ski jump, best buffet breakfast, helpful staff - we had a couple of maintenance issues with our room when we arrived but they fixed them quickly so was no problem :)

The hotel looks beautiful and very inviting from the outside, but inside it was a completely different story. The place was extremely dirty, disgusting beyond imagination, and full of insects. It was honestly so unpleasant that it was hard to believe a hotel could be kept in such a condition. The insects and lack of cleanliness made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. For the price they charge, it is absolutely not worth it. The exterior is very misleading because it looks attractive and beautiful, but the reality inside is completely different. Honestly, even €10 would be too much for a hotel in this condition.

We were really unhappy with the first room we got. The hotel was fully booked but the next day a really helpful staff made sure we got one of the newly renovated rooms that looks even better than on the pictures.

Big, comfortable room with plenty of space for the family. Facilities are not new, but well kept, and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Indoor play room and outdoor playground very popular with the kids. Buffets for breakfast and dinner are tasty and varying. Prices for drinks are in the high end.

Older, but nice hotel. Tiny TV, very small toilet room (separate from main bathroom) and while the property is not large, it is an uphill walk to most rooms, so be prepared for that.
