From October 2024 through the end of 2026, the hotel will undergo partial renovation work. The Suite Bellefontaine closes on September 25, 2024, and from April 10, 2025, the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Chat Botte and the bar will be closed, with an interim restaurant and bar taking over for guests.

The Beau-Rivage is opening a new chapter in its 160-year history, having recently completed a careful renovation of its rooms and suites. The grand facade was restored in detail, along with historical touches like frescoes and marble columns. The Select Suites, named after notable guests, each come with a private balcony overlooking the lake, the Old Town, or Geneva harbor.

The hotel sits a minute's walk from the Brunswick Monument, six minutes from the Jet d'Eau, and seven from L'Horloge Fleurie. Tavel House and Cathédrale Saint-Pierre are both an eleven-minute walk away. Geneva Airport, Annemasse Aerodrome, and the main train station are all nearby.

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake, with very walkable access to waterfront, shopping and dining. The rooms are as perfectly appointed and spacious. It was 96 degrees on my first day of the trip, and my room was very very comfortable. The hotel staff are all very kind, reserved and accommodating. I never expect anyone to be at my service, however, when traveling in another country, especially for business, it's additional peace of mind to know that anything I needed, or might have forgotten, was or could have been quickly accommodated.

I would like to share my impressions of our recent and definitely not last stay at Beau-Rivage Geneva. Our journey started with a very warm and professional welcome from the porter team. Julien at the front desk was extremely attentive and thoughtful. His colleague Hugo was also very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent and delicious, accompanied by great service from Marсo. As this was our first visit to Geneva, the concierge Guillaume (apologies if I spelled the name incorrectly) was incredibly helpful in explaining the city and advising us on the best ways to get to the beautiful places that we wanted to see. A wonderful hotel with an outstanding team providing truly high-level service!

This is a lovely historic hotel in a great location in Geneva. We only stayed one night but were very impressed with the caliber of the staff. From the front desk to the dining room personnel to the concierge desk, everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We certainly would stay here again on any return visits to the city.

On this trip, we have stayed in five star hotels in New York City, in Paris, in Geneva and in Lucerne. None of the others compare even remotely to the quality of room, Service and location of the Beau-Rivage Geneva. Upon arrival, the staff informed us that they considered themselves a team. We have heard that before, of course, but this time they meant it. Every member of the staff went out of his or her way to make sure that our stay was flawless and enjoyable. In addition, we were upgraded to the royal suite which is the most elegant suite we have ever stayed in. The room, the staff, the location and the hotel in General are extraordinary! I recently left my car at the garage and was truly impressed by the valet attendant. He was exceptionally professional throughout the entire time — handling my vehicle with great care and making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. I would have loved to tip him for his outstanding service, but unfortunately I didn’t have any cash on me at the time
