My wife and I stayed here in Nov of 2025. We were with other guests, my parents and my best friend and his wife. My friend and I were booked under a discount for work and the price was ok for what we got. My parents paid more and at the rate they had to pay I'd would look at other options - Location is great. Right next to the water, close to the train station, and it was walking distance to the rest of the city. Location is the main reason why you come here. The room was dated but clean, it worked and met our needs. The buffet for breakfast was very good for a continental option. The staff were friendly and professional, able to speak in English, French, and German. There is a self serve QRCode ordering bar but honestly get out of the hotel and walk five mins to one of the local pubs like the Pickwick Pub. I would come here for work again, not sure if I would do so without the work discount. Location is the biggest seller.

Warning: This hotel does NOT have air conditioning. It is in a nice location that is accessible to the water, the train station and lots of things to do, but the lack of air conditioning made our entire stay there a sleepless and sweaty mess. Our room looked like the pictures but I wish I knew beforehand about the A/C as that should be in bold print. It was over 90 everyday we were there in late August and stayed into the 80's at night. They did have a fan in the room, but it didn't offer much relief.

Pros - free early check in. Good location. Cons - I cut short my stay by several nights as it was so bad. Room falling apart, equipment such a fridge not working, and no aircon so incredibly hot. Constant noise and vibration from the elevator and neighbouring buildings aircon - asked to move room within 10 mins of checking in but was denied. All hot food items at breakfast were cold all week, staff said they turned off the heaters deliberately. Items worth around CHF 40 were taken from my room, I reported this to reception and 2 weeks later no follow up on the theft.

This hotel is very closed to Geneva lake. I enjoyed the view from my room. The kitchen has everything you need and also very clean. That was a hot day in May with 29 degrees at 9 pm and there is no air condition in the room. I won’t stay in this hotel in a hot summer day, but definitely in winter.

The hotel’s location works well, especially since Geneva is a relatively small city and easy to get around. The room was quite small, but perfectly sufficient if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring and just come back to rest. The bathroom was also compact but functional, and everything was cleaned daily. One thing to note is that there’s no air conditioning. We had to sleep with the window open in early May, so I’m not sure how comfortable it would be during the hotter summer months.

Modern, spatious! Loved having a kitchen and large fridge and utensils. Beautiful bathroom, I even took a bath. Loved having a fan in the room which is a rare thing, to sleep with at night which also provided some white noise. Location was great, near the train station and bus stops and probably walking distance to the waterfront.

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in in years. It seems some rooms have been redecorated to a better standard than others. Mine was extremely dated with old carpet that smelt bad, a very dated kitchenette, partially redecorated bathroom (i.e. fairly new mirror and shower but old sink with a smelly drain, toilet loose and not bolted to the floor properly, yellowed plastic extractor fan not working). The beds are poor and my room was two twins pushed together which is common but they didn't even use double sized bedding to hold them together so you just fall through the middle as the beds are on wheels. One fridge worked, the other didnt. And of course there is no air con. The owner has replied to other reviews to say this is in keeping with other old buildings in the centre, but this is not true. Many hotels in the centre have air con as I've stayed in them. In fact, the hotel next door that is literally in the same building has air con. The breakfast room does have air con but the staff lock the door during the day and sit in there themselves to stay cool. It's simply a matter of cost. They don't want to fit A/C nor do they want to redecorate properly and to a high standard. The paint on the doors and skirting boards etc is clearly a haphazard, cheap job. Why replace something when you can just brush some white paint over it? Just book an ibis or something even if it's further out and take the bus.

The location is quite convenient because just 4 minutes from tram station. There are also quite good restaurants nearby. The staffs are very nice. We wrote email and got the travel card in advance and it covered the transportation fee during our stay which is so helpful. It is also easy to reach everywhere from hotel.
