Overall, we had an excellent experience during our four-night stay at the InterContinental Geneva. We were attending a conference at Palexpo, so we commuted each day by public transit between the hotel, the conference venue, and Geneva’s Old Town. The hotel’s only drawback is its location. While public transit is convenient and efficient, it does take a fair amount of time to reach most destinations, whether heading to Palexpo or into the city centre. That said, the hotel itself more than made up for this. The property is beautifully maintained, and every member of the staff we encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. During our stay, Geneva was experiencing an intense European heat wave. While my partner attended the conference each day, the exceptional outdoor pool and landscaped grounds provided a wonderful place for me to relax, making the extreme temperatures far more manageable. The daily breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering an excellent variety of high-quality food that consistently exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to recognize Sarah, one of the breakfast servers. Her service was exceptional throughout our stay. She was warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcome. Her professionalism and genuine kindness made each morning a pleasure, and she is a real credit to the hotel.

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Sarah at the restaurant during breakfast she was exceptionally kind, attentive, and made every morning even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also excellent and made it easy to explore the area. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Super fantastic stay. Really lovely property with nice staff and clean rooms. We were upgraded to a jr suite and had plenty of windows and space. Breakfast was bountiful and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We’ve stayed closer to downtown for all the other trips but the bus stop outside the hotel zips you into town so easily which makes this hotel a perfect option. The busses/trams are free with a pass from the hotel - just ask at the front desk when you check in. Gym was great!! Sauna was lovely but the hours are bad - wish it was open later (really no reason to close it at 9pm). Will absolutely stay there again.

Overall great stay and excellent service from beginning to end. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of this property. The food options were absolutely amazing. The proportion sizes were perfect, everything was made well with excellent presentation and there was a large amount of healthy food choices. I want to especially shout out the 5 star service from our server Sarah. She was extremely bright and positive at 6am. She was on top of any and everything with a perfect balance of giving space while also being mindful of any needs. Her energy was also complimented by the entire staff as well. I also noticed some servers from breakfast still working in the evening for dinner so I must say that the entire staff was extremely hard working, pleasant and deserves all possible accolades. Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Geneva!

Overall, we enjoyed our three-night stay at the InterContinental Genève, with just a couple of exceptions. Our room was spacious and offered a lovely view of Lake Geneva, the Jet d'Eau, and the mountains. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, we made it work. Note that the room features a stocked mini-fridge that is not complimentary, yet no prices were displayed for the items. Each evening, we had a relaxing drink and light dinner at the bar. The bartender, Arthur, was wonderful and crafted excellent drinks. However, the primary reason I cannot give this hotel a 5-star rating is the shower. Throughout our stay, my husband and I were randomly scalded by hot water. We tried to find a pattern to avoid it, but to no avail. It was highly unpleasant. Additionally, guests should be aware of ongoing road construction directly outside the hotel, which starts at 06:30, Monday through Friday. We were fortunate that only one night of our stay fell into this timeframe. I recommend waiting until the construction is finished before booking, unless you plan to be up by 06:30 anyway. As for the water temperature issues, you will have to decide if that is a dealbreaker for you.

5 night stay at this smart, efficient hotel with good quality rooms as you would expect of its 5 star status. Great staff who provide the perfect blend of professional but friendly service. Special mention to Julia at breakfast who defines so well what great service is! Also Theo at the poolside who provided attentive service with a smile. Both a credit to the hotel. We will return.

We stayed in Geneva for one night using a voucher and would first like to thank the hotel for still making our reservation possible, even though we booked only about a week in advance for a busy weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The lobby area is beautiful, bright and elegant, and the staff at the entrance kindly guided us to reception right away. Our check-in with Richard was excellent. He was professional, friendly and very attentive, making sure we had all the information we needed and even personally accompanying us to our room. Later that evening, Yael and Romain at the concierge desk recommended a Lebanese restaurant for dinner, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious. Thank you again for the fantastic recommendation! Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The buffet offered a great variety of fresh options, and we especially loved the warm oriental dishes, which were such a pleasant surprise. The freshly prepared hot breakfast dishes from the menu were also excellent. Our check-out with Michelle was quick, smooth and very friendly. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful service and hospitality.

Ellie was outstanding at the Woods during our stay when coming down for breakfast. She was helpful in laying out where food items were and her recommendation for the Savoy cake was excellent choice with coffee! Thank you Ellie. Sarah was equally amazing is service and accommodating us during our breakfast. She was always there for refills of coffee and speaking with us about our stay. With a smile and warm happy reception the host Victoria demonstrated a level of customer service and greetings not often seen. Thank you for the great stay to all the staff at IHG! We will always be coming back!
