We were greeted by the friendly & Manager (Amisha) at reception. Upon entering the apartment, I was delighted to see a view of the lovely pool area from living and bedroom. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept well in the comfortable bed. The apartment had everything we required. Bathroom was spacious, loved the large shower head. We made use of the washing machine and drier, since we travel light. So many places of interest are withing walking distance, or the Tram is virtually at the front door, which we conveniently used everyday. This was our 4th stay at Palazzo and it never disappoints. It is a credit to Amisha and the team. Thankyou to you all.

We arrived out of hours and the. Check in was simple and effective. The location was fantastic, with a smalll walk to the beach and central surfers. The unit however, was very rundown and dusty and dirty. I had to clean the bathroom as it was not clean. The beds were clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was extremely effective which we appreciated. There was limited supplies, one roll of toilet paper and enough washing liquid for one wash. It would have been nice to have salt and pepper - we went out and brought some. The microwave was looking a bit rusty - I wasn’t sure how safe it was. The pool and spa area, was well maintained and looked after. Overall, we have stayed in much better apartments for less $ in Surfers.

The location is excellent, right next to Northcliffe tram station and only two stops from Cavill Avenue Station, in the centre of Surfers Paradise. Our room had a spacious living area with lovely views of the swimming pool and lake at the back of the property. It was peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise, which made our stay more relaxing and enjoyable. However, the main downside was the cleanliness, which needs improvement. There was a lot of dust on the bedroom ceiling. I didn't feel comfortable turning on the air conditioning until the dust was cleaned, as I was worried it might spread around the room. The washing machine was also quite dirty. As shown in the attached photo, even after I cleaned the filter and ran a cleaning cycle using Sard Wonder Antibacterial 5-in-1, there was still a lot of dirt and residue at the bottom. I had to clean it again before I felt comfortable using it. Hopefully, the next guests will benefit from my efforts, as the washing machine is now much cleaner than when we arrived. The kettle also had a lot of limescale buildup, so I had to clean it with citric acid before using it. Another disappointment was the limited toiletries and supplies. Only one small 30 ml tube of shampoo was provided for multiple guests staying five nights, which was clearly not enough. Extra shampoo, tea bags and coffee sachets were available only at an additional cost, so I ended up buying my own shampoo.

I read many recent reviews, most of which were five stars, while some reviews from two years ago mentioned that the rooms were dirty. I expected the hotel to have improved after receiving those complaints, so I decided to book a seven-night stay. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The room was dated and not as clean as I expected. The oven had a bad smell and was dirty, the sink drain had not been cleaned properly, and there were yellow mould stains around the sink drain. The toilet also had black stains inside, and both the washing machine and dryer were dirty. After using the bath towels for four days, I asked for fresh ones, but the hotel provided only one towel, which was very disappointing. I was also surprised to learn that room servicing is not provided for stays of fewer than eight days. For a seven-night stay, this meant that we would not receive room service during our entire visit. The hotel’s location is excellent, and I really enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. The tram station is right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to get around. Surfers Paradise Beach is also within easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options nearby, approximately a 14-minute walk away. I would not recommend this hotel, as there are many other hotels in the area to choose from. Although the location is excellent and the balcony offers a great view, the poor cleanliness, dated room, and limited housekeeping service made my stay disappointing. With so many alternatives nearby, I would choose another hotel next time.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location was excellent, very convenient with easy access to Surfers Paradise and other nearby landmarks and attractions. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

The location was amazing as the tram stop was right in front of it however the fixtures and fittings including shower head holder, the air corn remote holders and curtains need to be seen too. The starter pack was definitely not enough. We paid over $300 a night for 7 night and received only 4 toilet rolls, one washing machine powder, one dish washing sachet and 1 washing machine tablet. We had to pay additional if we wanted towels for the pool. The games room had a old and table tennis table with not peeled off bats, a pool table and a not functioning air hockey table. Overall, the location was good but will definitely not return.

The Palazzo Colonnades is a great place to stay. There is a G:link light rail stop (Northcliffe) 100mtrs from the entrance. The ladies at check in are very welcoming and helpful. The 4th floor room was spacious and looked out over the pool, BBQ area and the river beyond. The room had a full kitchen and breakfast bar, lounge area with 2 couches, a bedroom with king- or queen-sized bed, plenty of storage and a ceiling fan over the bed large bathroom with a big shower and plenty of room for a full laundry. The lounge and bedroom had a small deck to sit and watch the sun go down in the afternoon sun streams into the room keeping it warm or there is a heat pump and ceiling fan over the bed. I was very happy staying at the Palazzo and will stay with them again.

Had a fantastic stay here! Our apartment was well-presented and comfortable. The pool and spa were definitely bonuses! Super convenient location being so close to the tram stop and only a short walk from the beach, shopping precinct and lots of restaurants and other shops. Amisha took great care of us from booking to check out and had great recommendations for places to visit during our stay.
