Dear Khanh, Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you and your family had a great time and that your little one enjoyed the resort. It’s lovely to know you enjoyed the clean, spacious rooms, pool and splash park, as well as the great value of the park passes. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the overflow parking and coffee machine. We’ll be sure to share this with the relevant teams. We hope to welcome you and your family back for more fun soon! The hotel has its own dining spots: Shoreline, Hatsuhana, Melrose Italian, Sun Lounge, and Waterfall Café, plus a bar, cafe, lobby bar, and snack bar. Nearby, Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant and Shoreline Restaurant are about 100 m away. Terraces Restaurant, The Deck, Le Jardin, Ladybird Restaurant & Bar, and Sunset Waterfront Grill are roughly 1.5 km from the hotel. Omeros Brothers Seafood Restaurant, Glass Dining & Lounge Bar, and Hog's Breath Cafe sit about 1.6 to 1.7 km away. For a short walk, try the hotel's own venues first, then head toward Sea World Drive for more options.
The resort sits right next to Sea World, a six-minute walk away, with Doug Jennings Park and Broadwater Parklands each a 20-minute stroll. Main Beach is the closest beach, just minutes from the hotel, and the Gold Coast's 57 kilometres of coastline stretches from there. The immediate area is a relaxed seaside strip with the marina and ferry terminal nearby, plus a few dining spots like Terraces Restaurant and The Deck along Sea World Drive. For more variety, Surfers Paradise and Southport are a short ride away, and the G:link tram and buses connect you further along the coast.
From Gold Coast Airport, take the 761 or 777 bus to Surfers Paradise, then connect to bus route 705, which runs directly to Sea World every 20 minutes. From Brisbane Airport, the Airtrain connects to the Gold Coast, where you can transfer to the G:link tram or a bus. Taxis and Ubers are available outside both airport terminals. The hotel is on Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, right next to Sea World marine park. A pre-booked transfer like the Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle or Con-X-ion is another easy option.
For an evening out, start with dinner at the hotel's own Shoreline Restaurant or Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant, both right on site. A short 20-minute walk along the water brings you to Broadwater Parklands, a pleasant spot for a stroll. The nearby Marina Mirage ferry terminal, about 1.6 km away, offers a scenic way to explore the coast. You could also head to the hotel's bar or lobby bar for a relaxed drink. For more options, the Southport area, a short trip away, has places like Mr P.P.'s Deli and Rooftop for a casual bite.
Sea World Resort is a great base for exploring the Gold Coast. Sea World is just a 6-minute walk away, and Doug Jennings Park and Broadwater Parklands are each a 20-minute stroll. For the city's bigger sights like Infinity, Aquaduck Gold Coast, and Ripley's Believe It or Not!, you're about 5 km out, so a short drive or ride gets you there. SkyPoint Observation Deck is 5.9 km, and Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is 11.4 km, making those a longer trip by car or transit. The nearby ferry terminal at Sea World, about 800 m away, offers another way to get around. With the beach close by and easy access to transport, you can comfortably reach both local and farther attractions.
