Breakfast was what I would except from a hotel of this rating ( very good ) The chef Yosef Szeto was very accommodating and went out of his way , especially in regards to my Wife’s preference of Thai food. Very appreciated.

Fantastic 5-star experience! The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were professional and friendly, and the location was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Everything exceeded my expectations — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve stayed at Estandon Hotel in Guangzhou several times now, and it has become my go‑to place whenever I come for the Canton Fair. The combination of location, comfort, and value makes it one of the best hotels I’ve visited in the city. The location is very convenient for attending the Canton Fair, with the complex just a short drive or easy tram ride away, so getting to and from the exhibition is quick and stress‑free. The hotel sits in a modern part of Tianhe District, with easy access to transport, business areas, and nearby attractions, which is ideal after a long day at the fair. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a modern design that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Large beds, good bathrooms, and well‑maintained facilities create a very pleasant stay, and the city views from the higher floors add to the overall atmosphere. Every stay, I’ve found the room setup practical for both resting and catching up on work. The overall atmosphere in the hotel is calm and welcoming, which is something I really appreciate during busy fair days. The staff are friendly and helpful, and service in areas like reception and housekeeping is efficient and professional, making the experience feel smooth from check‑in to check‑out.

The hotel itself of ok, clean and very nice rooms. I took a king bed suite and it is well appointed although the decor is very much of school luxury. But it does the job. |The restaurant however, stay away from it. Just got charged 268rnb for a mediocre chicken stir fry and vegetables. Probably 4 times what would cost anywhere else.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. Facilities are great, cleanliness is to a high standard, staff are friendly and helpful. Only two things I would say are: internet connection is not very strong since it keeps disconnecting every few minutes, even if you are using the phone. The other relates to the restaurant refurbishment. When I first stayed at this location last year there was a notice in the bedroom stating the breakfast venue changed so you have to change lifts to go to 4th floor due to a refurbishment. To my surprise this was still the case this year. Considering how fast things can get done here in China, I was amazed that this was still the case. Breakfast choice is great and quite varied, but I really would prefer a more straightforward location for breakfast without having to navigate the through the different lifts.

If you are a business traveller and book this hotel via trip.com you should take into consideration that you might have a problem getting an official hotel invoice. I used the app many times in China but only here I faced this problem. And that’s weird. That’s the reason next time I will prefer another hotel, though this one is ok.

Absolute favourite stay so far! The room is spacious and extremely well furnished. The decoration is well thought out and the breakfast has so many options. The gym is fully equipped and the swimming pool is very big, there also a jacuzzi and steaming room. Overall I was extremely satisfied.

I stayed during canton fair - very good hotelGood location about 3 km from the fair Helping and very kind staff.Spacious rooms and very clean Big breakfast buffet- variety of food One bottle of beer in the hotel bar was really expensive … Shuttle bus to canton fair in the morning and back in the afternoon/ evening - very good serviceNext time I will stay again in this hotel I sincerely recommend this hotel
