We had a wonderful and truly memorable stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we experienced warm hospitality, attentive service and genuine care from the hotel team. The overall experience was very pleasant, and we greatly appreciated the effort made by the staff to ensure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. What stood out most was the sincere and personalised service from several members of the team. We would like to express our special appreciation to Mr Mark Huang, the Front Office Manager, for his sincere and warm attitude. We were especially touched when he personally came to greet us at the restaurant during our first morning breakfast. Such a thoughtful gesture may seem simple, but it made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued as guests. His personal attention reflected a level of hospitality that we truly appreciated. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Jack, who provided us with excellent and attentive service whenever we were in the lounge. His professionalism, helpfulness and willingness to assist made our time in the lounge particularly enjoyable. We were extremely grateful for his best efforts and the care he showed towards us. Last but not least, our heartfelt appreciation goes to Ms Aimee, the Assistant Executive Lounge Manager. We were particularly touched by her graciousness and politeness when she personally accompanied us all the way to the main gate and saw us off upon our departure. This was an exceptionally thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to conclude our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and left the hotel with very fond memories. We sincerely appreciate the entire team for making our visit so comfortable, enjoyable and memorable, and we would be very happy to return in the future.

Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment. Breakfast selection excellent - something for everyone. Hotel cleanliness in all areas excellent. Swimming pool and facilities clean and changing areas well equipped. All staff attentive, professional and polite. Special mention to Mark for his helpfulness in making our stay (as non Mandarin speakers) so easy and memorable.

Great rooms, impeccable dining and outstanding service is the recipe for a great stay and this hotel has all the marks. Its location may be a little further from the city center but it’s views of the canal are worth it ten times over. A big thank you once again to Don and Mark for making this stay unforgettable!

We have recently spent a 3 nights stay at Kempinski. The service is impeccable, they will take the initiative step to make sure everything is right. Specially thanks to Mr. Mark and Ms. Aimee who make us feel like home. We have tried the swimming pool and fitness area which are great. The breakfast so good and variety! Executive lounge service is awesome. Happy to stay here again!|Ho & Kuan

I recently stayed at Kempinski Hotels, and while it certainly reflects a high level of luxury in terms of design, comfort, and overall service, there was a significant issue that impacted my experience. The breakfast offering was not Muslim-friendly. A large portion of the food included pork, and many items appeared to be either prepared with it or cooked using the same pots and pans. This made it extremely difficult to find suitable options. For example, when I requested a vegetable omelet, I noticed it was cooked in the same pan used for pork, which is not acceptable for guests with dietary restrictions. Additionally, even items that are typically considered safe were not handled carefully. Croissants without pork were placed right next to those containing pork. Because of this, I could not confidently choose any bakery items and was limited to plain bread. In a hotel of this standard, I would expect better awareness and accommodation of different dietary and religious needs. Simple measures such as clear labeling, proper separation, and dedicated cooking equipment would make a significant difference. Overall, while the hotel performs well in many areas, the lack of consideration at breakfast is disappointing and should be improved to better serve a diverse range of guests.

The hotel is quite new and I had a wonderful time staying here. The property is quite new and the decor has a truly luxury feel. One of the highlights was the amazing bread shop downstairs—definitely worth a visit! I also want to give a huge thanks to Mark from the front office management team for being so helpful and welcoming. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip.

Kempinski Hangzhou is a fantastic place to relax and unwind, whether you are here for business or just to enjoy some leisure time. Its excellent location means you can easily get to the nearby shopping centres and a variety of restaurants and cafes, so you will never feel stressed or bored. The area is lively but also peaceful, so you can unwind without having to travel far. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and always there to lend a hand, making your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Plus, you can enjoy a view of the UNESCO-listed Great Canal with lots of greenery from your room.

The hotel has a nice and grand atmosphere, and our interactions with staff were exceptional- all were very helpful, friendly, patient, and willing to go beyond their necessary duty. Breakfast was excellent and the view of the grand canal was very nice and soothing. It provides a calmer atmosphere than staying at west lake. There are also some malls nearby for shopping
