A comfortable and practical stay for the family. The two-bedroom unit was spacious and clean, and having an in-suite washer/dryer and kitchenette made day-to-day life on the trip considerably easier. The one small inconvenience was that breakfast required a walk to the next building via a link bridge, but it's not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing in advance. The upside was a nearby shopping centre, genuinely convenient for picking up any necessities during the stay. Overall, a solid choice for a family needing space and self-sufficiency over a longer stay.

Firm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. Overall a good stay

We stayed for two nights. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the Wensen Road metro station, which feels like a long walk the first time, but is ok on subsequent walks. The room was spacious, with a sofa and coffee table as well as a desk. The kitchenette was equipped with a fridge, kettle and cooktop, and the washer/dryer came in handy. The pool in the next building so we didn't try it. The staff didn't speak any English but with translation apps she was able to order a taxi for us to go to the West Lake (18 RMB fare). BTW, another review says that the lake is 10 minutes walk away - not true, take a look at a map. There are no tourist attractions or malls in the local area.

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment. It was nice and spacious. Bed was comfy, rooms were good for sleep and sufficiently blackout/dark so that i sleep in longer in the morning. TV had many channels including English speaking ones. The swimming pool, gym and steam rooms were all good. Nearby food area but no subway station or supermarket nearby.relatively fast didi ride to Westgate and in77 area. Smooth check-out with help from friendly front desk staff Connie.

I recently stayed at the Oakwood Hotel in Hangzhou and was genuinely impressed – especially if you’re someone who values convenience and comfort over just another generic room.The full-size fridge in the room was a game changer. Not the tiny minibar type, but an actual fridge where I could store groceries, drinks, and leftovers without playing Tetris. And the in-room washing machine? Absolute lifesaver, especially during humid Hangzhou weather when you go through clothes faster than expected. Being able to wash and dry without hunting for a laundromat made all the difference.But the real standout was Connie at the front desk. From check-in to random questions about nearby supermarkets (for that fridge, obviously!) and laundry tips, she went above and beyond. Warm, efficient, and genuinely helpful – she even helped me figure out the washing machine settings when I got confused. It's rare to find that kind of personal attention.Location is solid too – close enough to West Lake without being swallowed by crowds. The room was clean, quiet, and had a small kitchen setup that made extended stays feel like Highly recommend for families, remote workers, or anyone tired of hotel laundry fees!

A spacious 2 bedroom with 2 toilet and bath apartment. Near west lake and many food options. A must try 胖子烧饼，they have the thin and thick type. We tried the thin ones, it’s thin, crispy and yet no lack of ingredients. Staff was helpful and prompt in response esp Connie, she helped us to settle down upon arrival and provided complimentary breakfast for our first day. Overall happy with the stay.

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment is light, spacious and airy. The bed is huge and really comfortable and the shower and bathroom are also lovely. Having a kitchen with utensils, hob and microwave meant we could cook in the evenings which is a huge plus.Breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and tasty with some western options, fresh noodles and omelettes, fresh fruits and salads, bread, cheese, pastries and amazing coffee and fresh juices.We used the pool several times (remember your swim caps!) and it was large and really nice for a swim. The location is great. It's close to the West Lake area. We walked there and back which was about 45mins each way, but it's also very easy to jump in a Didi to venture further around to see the Tiger Springs or Nine Creeks and Misty Forest areas which are really beautiful.The staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early and they checked us in straight away and very promptly answered all my questions. We asked for a late check-out and we were generously accommodated which was an added bonus.Oh - and the lobby and hotel smell amazing too!We will 100% stay here again when we return to Hanghzhou and would highly recommend it to other travellers if you'd like some luxury alongside home comforts.

Great place if you are looking for a serviced apartment style room for a a few nights. We got a 2 bedrm, with a generously sized living area, dining area and kitchenette, which was perfect for my family. Connie at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful.
