A huge hotel with an impressive lobby. Quick check in. Room was large with 2 single beds, treats on arrival: biscuits, juice and fruit which was lovely. I didn’t have breakfast but the shower had hot water in the morning, the AC worked well and I slept peacefully.

This is a beautiful property and was a real pleasant surprise to have such nice accommodations on the budget friendly tour I had purchased. Everything about it was very comfortable, clean and accommodating with the exception of the room temperature. Evidently the air conditioning had been shut off for the year but since they were having a warm spell and we had a south facing room where the curtain had been left open all day, it was just way too hot and no window to let some cool evening air in. Otherwise it was great and the buffet breakfast was awesome.

I stayed at the White Horse Lake Jianguo Hotel and had a mixed experience.The breakfast was very nice, with a good variety and quality options to start the day. The hotel itself is located in a larger complex that includes offices, an exhibition center, and a museum, which is different from what the front photos might suggest.Unfortunately, there were several downsides. Communication with the staff was difficult, as English was limited, and the issues I experienced in my room were not resolved during my stay. In addition, there were ongoing construction works across the hotel, causing noise 24/7, which significantly impacted comfort.The location is also something to consider. It is quite far from West Lake and main shopping areas, so getting around requires taxis or buses. A metro connection is expected in the future, which should improve accessibility.Overall, while the breakfast was a highlight, the noise, service limitations, and location made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Well, the location is excellent for me as it is close to the office I am working at. For others, it might be too far off from the real center of the city and the West Lake. It all depends ...Value for money is great. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Not worn out and nothing to complain about. I also enjoy the vicinity of the park for an evening/night stroll to come down after a busy day. Finally, I very much like the architectue of the hotel and of the adjacent Comic Museum. Will definitely come back!

These names as seen on the picture specifically the man, they did not give a good service, not great service but exceptional service! They have been patient smiling with curtesy and I haven’t been an easy customer. They just deserve a salary increase if not an other hotel will pay them better!Because of them I can say: I love China! Martin Marquis!

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bedding very comfortable. Did not like that we were put in a smoking room. We were not asked at all on checking in. You could smell smoke and this was not pleasant. Breakfast quite good.Overall location good for going out for peaceful walks.

The rooms, service, and breakfasts are excellent! The park is fascinating! The room is spacious, very comfortable, with a great bathtub and shower, large windows, and nice furniture. Everything is fantastic. The only major downside is the mess around the pool. The dividing floats are covered in green algae, and there’s clutter around the pool, with furniture and other items giving off a sense of neglect and uncleanliness. Please get the pool and changing area into perfect order—it would earn a 5+ rating.
