A truly charming hotel and a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely terrace that makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. What really stood out was the kindness of the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The service was excellent, and we especially appreciated their flexibility with the check-out, allowing us to stay longer and making our last day much more comfortable. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay. A beautiful hotel with lots of charm, a lovely atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

It was a five star experience for me in this a midsize hotel! I don’t need extravagance; I want pleasantry and comfort. Oriental Jade is located amidst the French Quarter and the old quarter. Literally walking distance to hundreds of places to visit. The visit started with first class service upon arrival. Our car pulled up and three people came running out of the hotel to greet and help us. Wow! What a great feeling. Then she sat us down and brought us a juice drink, and some butter cookies to snack. After checking us in she explained everything about the area on a map and then brought us to our room on the ninth floor to explain more. We chose to face away from the main street because experience says facing the main street is very loud. This room was nice and quiet and steps from the elevator. The rooftop swimming pool and bar is beautiful, particularly at night. The service there was equally excellent. They have a gym, with free weight, dumbbells, and a barbell, a couple workout benches, and cardio machines. Drinking water in there as well. I will say it was quite hot in there, and I don’t know how much workout you can handle in that heat. The breakfast buffet, from 6:30 to 10 AM I believe, was so good. Quite a nice spread for this boutique hotel. Of course there were the standard breads, crescents, and pastries. Then there was a pho bar and omelette station. Next are serve yourself hot foods like sausage, bacon, hash browns, etc. But the Asian foods were the best items: Smoked duck and sweet and spicy prawns. Didn’t try the chow mein but the fried rice was better than average. Then they had other veggie cooked food, followed by charcuterie types, fruits, avocado toast, smoke salmon toast, and fresh juices. I had to hold back not to overeat. Service was friendly and they served us tea quickly. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here. Thank you so much.

Great location in the old quarter ideal for exploring. Very welcoming and helpfull staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff helped book taxi's and helped by sharing local knowledge regarding places to visit. Our room was lovely, nice and bright, clean. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. The room had everything you need. Welcome touches like fruit and snacks were nice. The pool on the top floor has a great view. The bar staff made delicious cocktails and the food was good. Breakfast, was excellent, something for everyone. The welcome from the staff was an excellent representation of Vietnam. We would definitely stay again.

I was blown away by this hotel in so many ways. The breakfast and the pool/pool bar are amazing. The rooms are so comfortable and quiet (and the air conditioning is very strong- a must in the summer). Most impressive is the attentiveness of the staff here. Everybody we spoke to went above and beyond at their jobs to improve our stay. I was overwhelmed with their kindness!! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay close to the Old Quarter.

The service was outstanding; the hotel staff were incredibly attentive and considerate, going above and beyond to assist us. It made our stay very enjoyable. The location is perfect for exploring all parts of the vibrant city—just a short walk to the cathedral and the lake. Situated on the edge of the French Quarter, it's close to some amazing dining options. The lively old town is only five minutes away on foot if you're after nightlife. We also enjoyed the spa, which was incredibly refreshing and energizing. A big thank you to Brian, Do, and Johnathon for making our stay so memorable.

Believe the reviews about this hotel - it is stunning and the service was impeccable! From the reception staff to everyone in food and beverage and house keeping - every single staff members was so happy and kind and full of smiles. Can’t beat the location- step right out into the fabulous chaos of Hanoi , and it’s just minutes around the corner to the famous Cathedral. We absolutely loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave Special mention to Jack Daniel and Long in the Food and Beverage department who were so so lovely, always full of smiles and laughter and genuinely made our stay so special! They are an asset to the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and were extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The service was exceptional — every member of the staff was professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. We received such thoughtful and personal attention throughout our stay, which made us feel especially well taken care of. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and incredibly varied, with a wonderful selection to suit every taste. It was clear that great care and attention were put into every detail. We also absolutely loved the rooftop bar and swimming pool. The rooftop offers breathtaking views over the city and creates an incredible atmosphere, especially while enjoying a drink by the pool. It was truly a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel’s location is another major advantage. It is ideally situated right in the heart of the city, making it extremely convenient for exploring the main attractions and getting around. Overall, we had a truly wonderful experience and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The combination of the exceptional service, warm hospitality, beautiful breakfast, fantastic rooftop, and central location made this hotel a real pleasure to stay at. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!

My stay at The Oriental Jade Hotel was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the staff set the tone — phenomenal service, attentive in all the right ways, and representing the boutique standard at the highest level. They made everything feel seamless and genuinely cared about the guest experience. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight. The food and drinks were amazing, beautifully prepared, and paired with a relaxed atmosphere that made every visit feel special. Breakfast was delicious each morning, offering a wide variety of tasty options that made it easy to look forward to starting the day. The location is perfect — extremely walkable and safe, whether you’re exploring with others or heading out solo. You can get anywhere you need within minutes. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The pool, while on the smaller side, was spotless and more than sufficient for cooling off and unwinding after a day in the city. Overall, The Oriental Jade Hotel delivers a boutique experience that feels elevated, thoughtful, and consistent from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.
