Checked in for two nights stay, Izabela was struggling to find the reservation and didn’t give a very strong feeling of making the guest feel welcome. No acknowledgement of Diamond Elite status which is the first time I’ve experienced this. The hotel had upgraded the room to a lovely Junior Suite on the 9th floor but she didn’t mention this also. Little information was given and sadly in terms of first impressions that was disappointing. The room was well appointed and clean, nicely designed and we had Club Lounge Access. There were crisps, nuts and sweet treats as well as soft drinks and hot drinks available at all times. From 6pm there was enough food put out for some people to eat a full meal, if that is your taste in food. Sadly it wasn’t ours. We used the pool and sauna but the pool is quite cold and lacks any sort of jacuzzi and space to relax. The sauna I’m informed was naked and very hot. Breakfast the next morning was okay, a range of options with either waffles or omelettes cooked fresh if you could track down a staff member. I’ve experienced much better Crowne Plaza breakfasts but the food was of a good quality and it was free to us as a welcome amenity. Overall the hotel is well located, tram 2 or 4 takes you very quickly into the centre. There are some restaurants nearby and museums you can enjoy. I’d certainly stay again.

A good hotel with great customer service. Merlin, the female supervisor is very understanding. This was our first time in Finland, and Merlin made us feel welcome. We could not go on without thanking Merlin. Crowne Plaza should hire more employees like her. We are very pleased with the service. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Modern conference rooms with comfortable furniture and good lighting. Tech support service was fast and responsive when needed. Surprisingly, no complimentary water or coffee was provided by default—water at least should be standard. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.

Excellent central location with exceptionally clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Includes a bidet spray in the bathroom, which is a rare and major bonus. Tasty breakfast featuring fresh, made-to-order omelets and waffles upon request. Access to a large, highly rated, and exceptionally well-equipped fitness facility. Breakfast quality is solid, but adding more daily menu variety would elevate the experience. Rooms can feel slightly stuffy upon arrival and would benefit from better airflow.

Me and my family stayed at this property for 3 nights as part of our summer holiday. Our overall experience of the hotel was very positive. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The gym, pool and sauna is execellent. Location is a few steps from the tram, which will bring you anywhere you want to go.

We were thoroughly impressed and happy with our three night stay! Excellent location, very walkable to Central Helsinki, excellent buffet breakfast, very clean and well maintained room and overall property! All staff we interacted with were very efficient and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Helsinki!

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for the marathon and it was a perfect base for that - 5 mins walk to the start line at the Olympic stadium. It was a very pleasant 20 min walk along the waterfront to the shops and harbour. It was close to some very nice restaurants and my boyfriend loved the beer selection at the hotel bar. The room was beautifully fitted in a modern style and we loved the local chocolates. Such a nice touch. Top housekeeping every day. The breakfast was so varied - fantastic hot and cold selections, omelettes on demand, juices and smoothies. I also enjoyed trying some Finnish specialities too. We checked out the gym and pool in the basement which was of a very high standard. My thanks also to Merlin on reception and the team behind the scenes who worked really hard to reunite us with a bag we had left at a nearby restaurant that was closed on the day of our flight. The hotel went above and beyond to help us and we couldn’t be more grateful. The team spoke perfect English which was very helpful as we don’t know much Finnish (sorry)!

I stayed in King standard on the 8th floor with a lovely view. The surrounding area was peaceful with a tram stop and the bay just steps away. One of the reception staff was helpful and professional.
