It is located in a beautiful, quiet area, close to the tram stop that goes directly to the city center. Our room with a balcony was large and spacious, offering a lovely view and reasonably comfortable beds; it also seemed quite clean. The hotel is surrounded by lawns and even has a small beach area. There is an excellent small gym that is open around the clock and a small pool we didn't use. The breakfast was superb. I would happily stay here again and again.

We arrived at the hotel late at night. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming, as if they were upset with us for being late. They told us about a 50-euro deposit and asked for our card number. Then, my banking app showed a declined transaction for 200 euros, after which there were two attempts to charge 100 euros each. I had to go to reception to sort it out, where they told me the 50-euro deposit was for a DAY. They told me point-blank that if we'd been staying for 10 days, they would have charged us 500 euros! They were very reluctant to accept the deposit in cash.The room was large and clean. The hotel is quite dated, making it really (like really!) cold, and there's no air conditioning or heating. The radiator makes noise but doesn't provide any heat! We had to sleep in a sweater and warm pants. The room lacks basic amenities, for example: no dental kits, slippers, etc. The water in the room is not complimentary and costs 5 euros per 500-ml bottle.For 5-star Hilton hotel I was disappointed.

Recently stayed here while in the city for a wedding. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a great location which was a short distance from the tram stop and near the water. The rooms were spacious and clean. I attended the wedding reception at their function room and I thought the food and the service were second to none. The variety of food was great and was made well and the staff serving at the event were also efficient and friendly. Special mention for their lovely shampoo and shower gel provided. I thought this was a fabulous hotel and would highly recommend staying here if in Helsinki.

The Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa is a little dated in some areas, but the excellent location more than makes up for it. It is conveniently located with good transport connections and plenty of parking available. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made our stay especially pleasant. We can also recommend the hotel restaurant. The food was very good, although the selection of non-alcoholic drinks could be a little wider. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location with excellent service. We would definitely stay here again.

I stay at this Hilton every time I visit our Finnish branch for business, and it has become my go-to hotel in the area. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views over the sea from the restaurant and bar. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of meetings. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making every stay comfortable and enjoyable. One thing to note is that the rooms do not have air conditioning, which can be challenging during the warmer summer days. However, the staff were quick to provide a fan, which was greatly appreciated and showed their commitment to guest comfort. Overall, a great hotel with an excellent location, wonderful staff, and a consistently pleasant experience. I look forward to staying here again on future trips.

Nicely out of town but on a frequent tram route for the city. Always taxis available. Quiet location.|Breakfasts are good and whilst our room was a little dated, it all worked and was clean. Service good.|We had a view of the water with ducks and geese visiting and that was magnificent. My only quibble here is that reception promised to package the view and send it to me but I’ve not seen it yet!

Great and amazing little hideaway in Helsinki. Not the most up to date - the price reflects that. Very nice service from the restaurant manager - I do not recall his name.. I want to say it was Greek :) thank you for the nice service. Very easy 20min ride to city via tram near by. If you want a chill and quiet stay - this is your place.

A truly interesting hotel with a distinctive character. The staff are consistently warm, professional, and incredibly patient, always making every guest feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful stay and am already looking forward to returning for my next holiday.
