The hotel is in an excellent location, the service is efficient, and the breakfast is good. The windows of the breakfast room offer a lovely street view of the city waking up. The room itself was beginning to show its age, with some loose trim and similar minor defects, but it was clean. The view from the room was of a dilapidated balcony on the equally run-down neighbouring building, but in a city-centre hotel you cannot always choose the scenery. In fact, it reminded me of some reasonably priced city-centre hotels I have stayed in around Southern and Central Europe. The room rate—especially when using Scandic points—more than made up for these minor shortcomings. City-centre hotels rarely have their own parking facilities, so I had to leave my car in a nearby parking garage. Its overnight stay ended up costing almost as much as mine at the hotel.

Just walking distance from the train. Budget hotel, the room was okay a bit noisy because it is near the street, can view from the window. The tram stops are just infront of the hotel. The breakfast was good. The staff are friendly.

Amazing and affordable stay tucked in Hakaniemi. Location is good as it is close to Hakaniemi train station. There’s a McDonalds nearby and mini market. Overall cleanliness of room is excellent and the breakfast buffet is delicious too.

Decent hotel located near the train station and near a nice park... did find the room relatively small but functional... however the toilet was not really functional but rather tight. The room in a corner had poor natural light... probably this doesn't happen in other rooms. Breakfast was exactly the same choices the two days I stayed...

We had a pleasant stay and the staff was lovely and helpful. The vibe in the hallways was weird and kind of spooky, and that continued in the first of the two rooms we stayed in. Breakfast was pretty good! Very well located, easy to get to the Moomin stores and the botanic gardens. The elevator was extremely small.

Overall rating for staying was average, rather good price for the location. Hotel needs some renovation, especially bathroom. Also during my stay they forget to fill up shower gel before arrival.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Helsinki. Nevertheless, the room was very quiet and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The building is a bit aged, but the heating was functioning well, and the bathroom looked new. The breakfast offered a wide choice.

Good location with tourist attractions only a few minutes waking! Staff were also helpful and friendly to us! The room was big which was great, but one of the beds (of the room of 4) was awful, it made noise each time you moved and it was really uncomfortable. AC wasn’t the best either, unfortunately.
