Chose Dormy Inn as it was near the station. It's a relatively nice walk to Himeji Castle which we took a leisurely walk there. The room was decent enough for 2 pax which we appreciated. The public hot bath was also very good and clean. I would consider staying here again when I come back.

Dormy Inn has become our go-to choice whenever we travel in Japan, especially when it is just the two of us. The concept is simple. Comfortable, affordable accommodation, but with one key feature that sets it apart from most hotels in this price range. The inclusion of a proper onsen makes a huge difference. Being able to enjoy a relaxing soak at night and then start the day with a refreshing morning dip completely elevates the stay. It changes the rhythm of the trip and adds a layer of rest and recovery that you would not usually expect at this price point. Rooms are compact but well designed, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need for a short stay. The overall experience is consistent across different locations, which makes it a reliable choice when planning travel. What really stands out is the value. Getting an onsen experience included in a reasonably priced stay feels like you are getting more than what you paid for. It is practical, relaxing, and very easy to enjoy. Dormy Inn is not about luxury. It is about smart comfort and thoughtful touches that make your trip better. And for us, that is exactly why we keep coming back.

I am from Taiwan 🇹🇼 Excellent stay! The service was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I loved the relaxing hot spring (onsen), and the food was a highlight—both the delicious breakfast and the complimentary late-night ramen were fantastic. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very conveniently located near the Himeji station and is a short walk to Himeji Castle. The Inn itself contains an Onsen for all guests and includes complementary ice cream and popsicles for afterwards. They also have late night noodles (ramen) that's really tasty. When we stayed there we were also able to leave our bags after checking out when we went to see the castle.

Response from the property

Thank you very much for choosing Dormy Inn Himeji from among the many hotels available. We are very honored that you praised the convenience of the area around our hotel. As you mentioned, we are located about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Himeji Station. There are convenience stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, so you will have no inconveniences while you stay. Our hotel's proud large public bath is open from 3:00 PM until 10:00 AM the following morning, so we hope you will enjoy it as much as you can. Additionally, as an original Dormy Inn service, we offer a half-sized bowl of soy sauce ramen called "Yonaki Soba" from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, and in the bath area of the large communal bath, we offer "ice cream" from 3 PM to 1:00 AM, and "lactic acid bacteria drinks" from 5 AM to 10 AM. Our restaurant on the second floor is available as a free space from 3 PM to 11 PM, and we offer a variety of welcome drinks, including soft drinks and coffee. We hope you will enjoy a relaxing time at Dormy Inn. Shirasagi-no-Yu Natural Hot Spring Dormy Inn Himeji Front Desk: Goda
