The staff at the SkyGem Hotel are absolutely incredible! They are the friendliest, hospitable and kind people you’ll ever meet! There was always someone available to answer any and all questions you may have, even if they didn’t know the answer to your question, they would take the time to research and get back to you. The rooms were superb and the pool provided a refreshing dip during the hot Ho Chi Minh days. Its proximity to all the tourist attractions made it even more of an ideal place to stay, however I would’ve been happy staying at the hotel for the staff alone.

The soundproofing is virtually non-existent, so it’s extremely noisy. The windows are very dirty and appear not to have been cleaned for a long time, and the blinds are old and worn out. The air conditioning is difficult to control—it is either far too cold or has to be turned off completely. They only provide one room key, which is inconvenient. The breakfast is also of a low standard. I would recommend looking for a different hotel. I would not recommend staying here. The room has almost no soundproofing, making it very noisy. The windows are dirty, the blinds are old and shabby, and the air conditioning is impossible to regulate—it is either freezing cold or completely off. Guests are only given one room key, which is very inconvenient. The breakfast is disappointing and below expectations. There are much better hotels available in the area.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the swimming pool during my stay. The pool water seemed to contain a very high level of chlorine. After swimming, my skin developed a severe allergic reaction — it became extremely red, itchy, and irritated. In addition, the chlorine caused serious damage to my skin, resulting in painful cracking and bleeding on my nipples, which was both physically painful and distressing. I believe the pool water is not properly balanced or maintained, and this raises concerns about guest safety and hygiene. I strongly recommend that the hotel checks and adjusts the chemical levels of the pool water to prevent other guests from experiencing similar health issues. Unfortunately, this experience significantly affected my comfort and overall stay.

Stayed here for a quick business trip. Strong Wi-Fi and a practical work desk inside the room. Since it's located in a wide alley, it stays very peaceful without the constant noise of motorbike traffic. The breakfast buffet is compact but high quality.

This hotel is located in the central of Ho Chi Minh City at District 1 and can walk to many places between 10-15 minutes eg Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Centre, Saigon Square and Little Japan. It also has a nice proper covered area outside the entrance for smokers. Breakfast was not so great though. My executive room came with a bathtub which was great after a tiring day walking around town.

Noisy rooms, the old windows let too much noise get in. Great views from the room on the city lights. Breakfast could use a lot more choice. Service was good, but they were clearly understaffed. Could probably use some renovation. Location is pretty central.

I absolutely loved the hospitality at Sky Gem Central. Both the bellhops and receptionists were professional and polite. The lobby can get a bit crowded on weekends during peak check-in times, but the staff handles the paperwork incredibly fast.

This property met all my corporate travel needs. Excellent proximity to major office buildings for client meetings. The room has great soundproofing, providing a quiet space to work. Staff was very helpful with arranging reliable airport transfers.
