We arrived here expecting a clean budget room, but we were given a tiny room with a strong smell of urine. I asked for a different room and with no apology, she shoved me another key over the desk. The next room had stained bedding. My advice is to stay away, unless you want a smelly room with old bad furniture. They refused to refund.

I had a good experience with this hotel. For personal reasons, I had to cancel my 3-day reservation. I received my refund in a reasonable amount of time.

We had a generally pleasant stay at the Première Classe Hotel in Honfleur. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which made for peaceful nights. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable — exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring. However, there are a few points to be aware of. The cleaning staff seemed poorly organized, and our room wasn’t ready by the official check-in time. Also, the reception is only open during specific hours, so plan your arrival accordingly. Make sure to book your breakfast when reserving your room — it's €6.20 and not included by default. During summer, the parking area fills up quickly, and although there's a gate and a small entrance, they remain open 24/7, so parking isn't particularly secure. Lastly, note that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be uncomfortable in warmer weather. Overall, it’s a good budget option if you’re not expecting too much.

A perfect stay for one night. It has free parking for your car and everything went smoothly. Friendly stuff that speaks English as well.

Avoid — double-charged and zero response I booked Première Classe Honfleur via Booking.com and was charged twice — once when I paid at the property and again by Booking.com. I’ve sent 10+ emails to the hotel and there’s still no reply and no refund. The whole thing has been frustrating and time-consuming. Location-wise, it’s 15–20 minutes’ walk to the center and sits right off the highway, very much a roadside motel vibe. For peace of mind, I’d pay a few euros more and stay elsewhere. This is a budget hotel. It is basic but delivers everything you need for a budget price. The location isn’t ideal if you need to walk into Honfleur but it’s close enough. It is however near to a few places to eat and grocery shops. I recommend Amoretto for a good value Italian meal 10 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and generally very professional. On one morning breakfast was several minutes late but aside from that everything was good. Rooms are compact but functional. The en-suite bathroom is small but again it’s perfectly functional. The shower is reminiscent of a caravan or overnight ferry but the water was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was a basic continental affair. Freshly baked croissants were accompanied by baguette, wholemeal sliced bread (with a toaster) yoghurts and conserves. Drinks were orange juice and a coffee machine which provided a full array of coffee choices. All sufficient but no fresh fruit or meats/cheeses. Not ideal if you are on a low carbohydrate diet 😬. For the price we paid (approximately €70 including breakfast) it does the basics very well. It is not pretending to be anything more expensive so it’s true to itself. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

Very basic small rooms. The bathroom was clean but very old fashioned and reminded me of a caravan shower where the toilet and shower are in the same space. The door was very stiff, and we struggled to open it! Mattresses were firm but OK for one night. Breakfast was limited to hot drinks/orange juice/ tiny croissants/bread/jam. No fruit or cereal. However, it is in an excellent location, an easy 20-minute walk into Honfleur, which is just lovely. Next door is a macdonalds, and Lidl is just a short walk away. There is a nice outdoor sitting area. We were disappointed as we have stayed in premiere classes hotels before and they have been much better than this one. We wouldn't return again as I think it is hugely overpriced for what it is. Staff are pleasant.

The hotel is what you can expect of this kind of hotel. Not the most luxurious but the bed was nice and the room was clean. The receptionist Nathalie made my stay a lot better though. I had some trouble with self check-in and she didn’t hesitate to help me out. Thanks!
