The room was clean and comfortable, and we had no issues with its overall condition. However, the hotel's location may not be ideal for travelers who plan to rely heavily on the MTR for transportation, as it is quite far from the nearest station. There is a public bus stop across the street from the hotel, which provides convenient access to areas such as Mong Kok and etc. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to the nearest MTR station every hour, but it only operates until 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the shuttle service. We arrived on time and waited for the shuttle, but it was already full when it arrived. While we understand that seating is limited, we hoped the hotel would make an effort to accommodate guests who were already waiting, perhaps by arranging an additional trip. Instead, we were informed that we would need to wait another hour for the next shuttle or use alternative transportation such as the public bus or a taxi. Given the hotel's distance from the MTR station, many guests depend on the shuttle service. With the large number of guests staying at the hotel, it would be helpful if shuttle capacity could better match demand, especially during peak hours. To be fair, we acknowledge that we should have researched the location more carefully before booking. However, I am sharing this review to help future travelers. If easy access to the MTR is important to you, this hotel may not be the best choice. Also, be aware that if the shuttle is full, you may need to wait for the next scheduled departure, even if you arrive on time.

I have not been staying in a hotel that did not provide any toiletries and water and not being informed in their booking website. A very out dated hotel and badly need refurnished.

Extraordinary Service Beyond Expectations I want to express my deepest gratitude to Duty Manager Ms. Carmen Fu. On September 2, an issue occurred right outside the hotel involving my mother that required assistance from the police. Even though my mother was not a hotel guest, Ms. Carmen stepped in without hesitation. She patiently helped assist the police and checked records to help us figure everything out. Going so far out of her way for someone who wasn't even staying at the hotel speaks volumes about her character and professionalism. Thank you so much, Ms. Carmen—management should be extremely proud to have you on the team!

The Metropark Hotel ,is very reliable and trusted place, we feel safe during our stay in the premises. The staff and the crew are very respectful and helpful. Our room was clean when we arrived, our needs are there already in the hotel. They have Gym and outdoor swimming pool. Thank you Metropark Hotel for your good service.

A complete nightmare. Avoid at all costs! The location of this hotel is a solid 10/10. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, a laundromat, and bus stops that can get you anywhere. Night markets are also within walking distance. But that is where the compliments end.As for the hotel itself, it is incredibly outdated. The elevators are a safety hazard—the doors close so fast they constantly trap people. There are only 4 elevators for the entire building, and you can easily find yourself waiting for over 5 minutes just to get in.The housekeeping is absolutely atrocious. On our first night, we noticed our pillow was dirty. Instead of making a scene, we simply requested room cleaning for the next day. And guess what? When we returned late that evening, it was the exact same dirty pillow! We had literally thrown it on the floor the night before, but they just picked it up, put it back on the bed, and pretended they had cleaned the room. Unbelievable! On top of that, the whole place is incredibly dusty and reeks of durian. The shower pressure is a joke. Water barely trickles out of the hose, making it impossible to wash properly.I barely took any photos because being in that room was unbearable. They say buy cheap, buy twice—and it's true. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra $100–$200 for a proper 5-star hotel, and stay there instead.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They don't offer any airport transfer service and wouldn't even help us call a taxi. Shocking customer service. To top it off, my wife and I are used to hotels offering a small complimentary gesture for birthdays (like a slice of cake), but here, they couldn’t care less.Hands down the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

What I really like about this hotel is the location, because it is very accessible by bus (just like a hop-in, hop-out bus), the bus stations are very near the hotel. There are also a lot of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Cleanliness-wise, it is clean, but they will not clean your rooms unless you ask them to. Their amenities are ok, nothing special. Service-wise: not good, not bad (typical HK probably, not really friendly, especially the front desk). I do appreciate the ground personnel, they are helpful, especially in ordering a taxi to the airport. I cannot say I want to stay here again, as it is quite expensive.

I really wanted to rate this hotel better but I cannot be positive about our initial experience. We were assigned a twin room which I requested but the carpet in area in the hallway directly outside of the bathroom was soaking wet. This meant that we stepped into this wet area every time we went into and out of the bathroom. I can only presume that this was due to the air conditioning leaking or some other reason. The bathroom fixtures in this room were particularly bad with parts of the door frame broken or rotting. To be fair to the staff, when I pointed this problem out the next day, they changed our room and this new room was absolutely perfect. I do not understand why we were not given this room in the first place or told that there would be a problem with the initial room. If we had been assigned this new room to begin with I would not have anything negative to say at all.It seems to mainly cater for Mainland Chinese guests which means that if you are not used to their behaviour you may become frustrated by people barging past you or pushing to get into the lift. It's also clear from the fact that reception staff will speak Mandarin to you instead of English or Cantonese. The location of the hotel is quite far out from Mong Kok itself but the walk is not unpleasant and they also provide a free shuttle bus every hour. It's not simple to find where the pickup point going in the opposite direction towards the hotel so I would check this in advance.

The hotel is very good, we were satisfied. The best about it is location - quit street and very convenient to go to city center. The pool on the roof is good! Even cosmetics in the room is good and instant coffee is delicious :) Little minus that we had to ask about cleaning on the second day, but maybe we somehow turned “do not disturb” button by accident. All the other days the cleaning was excellent! All in all, we were more than happy to stay there! The staff in the bakery on the ground floor could have been more polite, but hey, maybe the staff just wasn’t in a bad mood)) We’re happy to stay in Hong Kong!
