This hotel does not feel like 5 stars, but you get good value out of what you pay for. The hotel looks aged, room decoration fells out-dated. The room view is mostly the roof of some old buildings. The main advantages of this hotel is location, close to MTR, tram and bus stops, lots of malls and food options around the hotel. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. Wifi works great. Breakfast is decent, and has good Asian and Western options. Elevators’ wait time is long even with 4 running elevators serving 30+ floors. In-room amenities are not great. There are not enough towels and size varieties. No huge size bath towels nor medium size face towels. It does provide a wooden toothbrush plus toothpaste, but not combs nor razors. Also, the sink faucet is weak, but the shower faucet is fine.

We been staying at this hotel on at least two previous occasions! On the whole, we had not been disappointed！The facilities are good but mostly dated. The cleanliness is generally quite good standards. The staff are very helpful and pleasant; the services are prompt and responsive. The location is unquestionably excellent. It is closed to all public amenities, eateries, department stores and public transport. The tram stops are right in the front of the hotel! We enjoy the great deal for being a “long stay”. Apart from getting a good price, we received a fresh fruit plate, free drinks in the fridge, daily free soup and desert treats and one off free laundry. And the best of all is the free airport shuttle bus dropping us back to the airport!!!Anyway we be sure to go back again!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Hong Kong. The concierge, Taveeb, was very accommodating, helpful, and always friendly whenever we needed assistance. Manager Dennis was also very approachable and made sure that guests were comfortable during our stay. The housekeeping staff and cleaners were all very friendly and accommodating as well. The hotel is very clean, and our room was cleaned every day which made our stay even more comfortable. Another thing we loved is the location — it is very convenient and close to everything, making it easy for us to go around Hong Kong. If I come back to Hong Kong in the future, I will surely book this hotel again. Highly recommended for their excellent service, cleanliness, and friendly staff!

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the lady who cleans our room on the 25th floor. She was always so kind and attentive. The front desk and shuttle staff were also very accommodating. Peggy and Hinton were especially helpful and made our stay even better. Overall, we had a great experience!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel is. I stayed here for 4 days, and while the cons on my last day almost made me change my rating, I decided not to because most of my stay was excellent. Pros: Location (5/5): My favorite area in Hong Kong has always been HK Island. This hotel is just a 3‑minute walk from Sogo, IKEA, and other spots — super convenient. Service (5/5 for first 3 days): The gentleman at reception was very accommodating and kind. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were genuinely nice. Room (5/5): Spacious, AC worked fine, and I loved the shampoo/conditioner — my hair looked thicker and healthier after using them. The AC was a bit loud, but I liked it as white noise. Breakfast buffet (4/5): Good food, plenty of keto/low‑carb options, open until 11 AM, not crowded, and the cooks were friendly. The food menu doesn’t change much though. Cons (last day): Checkout (2/5): At 7 AM I requested late checkout. The trainee (I think) at reception kept repeating a robotic “we’re full” response. After some back‑and‑forth, she finally agreed to 1 PM. For a 5‑star hotel, I expected smoother handling. Elevator (1/5): Very alarming incident — I came from the 28th floor, and at the 20th floor the lift jolted and felt like it dropped suddenly. It stopped at the 16th floor, where another guest pressed the emergency button and we eventually got out safely. This was genuinely dangerous. Breakfast (Friday): Busier than usual, and one female staff member with short hair was very noisy when clearing tables, banging utensils and plates like we were in a cha chaan teng instead of a hotel. Combined with my anxiety from the elevator incident, it made breakfast stressful. Final thoughts: For the first 3 days, this was a solid 5‑star experience. The last day’s issues made me double‑think returning next week for a longer stay. I hope the hotel improves staff training, keeps breakfast service quieter, and most importantly, fixes the elevator. Despite these concerns, I’m keeping my rating because overall I enjoyed my stay here. If I plan to go back next week, I hope the front desk staff will be accommodating enough if I request for the same room.

Great hotel for the cost :) We checked in & the concierge staff are highly efficient & professional. They answered all questions we had & offered suggestions & had excellent knowledge of the area . As well, our room cleaning staff was fantastic. They’re super punctual and generally start at 9:00 am & you don’t have to wait long at all for your room to be clean & organised well :) As it rained a great deal while we were in HK , we weren’t sure about going out , but Bono was super helpful by offering to loan us an umbrella & alway is highly knowledgeable of the area & best times to do certain activities in HK . He really was very instrumental in assisting us by providing very credible information & has a friendly demeanor as well . Also a big thanks to Ricky and Sum for helping us secure a taxi ride back to the airport . Ricky was also helpful with providing useful tips for where to go :) Thanks Regal Causaway Bay :) We look forward to our return !

I stayed at Regal Hongkong Hotel for 22 days on the Club Floor, and overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I did have a drainage issue in my first room, but the team handled it promptly and arranged a room change, which I appreciated. A special thank you to Simon, whom I saw every morning at breakfast and sometimes at the front office. He was consistently professional, sincere, and attentive, and his service really stood out throughout my long stay. Also, the two ladies stationed at the Club Lounge were incredibly attentive and caring, and they made the lounge experience feel warm and well looked after. Thanks to the team for the great hospitality — I would happily stay again.

I lived in the hotel for almost one month. I lived on the 26th floor. My experience was extremely positive. The staff was friendly, the cleaning was excellent, and the beds were comfortable, which was important because I don't sleep well outside of my home. The hotel was very quiet, although this may have been due to the high floor. The only issue was the heavy wooden doors, which some guests occasionally slammed with extra force. However, this was rare and did not significantly impact my overall experience. The water pressure was excellent. The drinking water filter is very convenient. I went down for breakfast from time to time, and everything was fine. I felt very comfortable.
