Absolutely Wonderful Stay at The Kimberley Hotel Hong Kong! We arrived at The Kimberley Hotel around 11:00 AM and were pleasantly surprised when we were able to check in by 12:00 noon. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One thing we really appreciated was the spacious hotel lobby. There were plenty of tables and chairs available for guests who were waiting, relaxing, or enjoying a quick meal. Complimentary drinks were also provided at the lobby, which was a thoughtful touch. The restrooms were easily accessible and well-maintained, and the hotel offers free luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, making our travel experience much more convenient. The location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest highlights. Everything you need is within walking distance—convenience stores, shopping malls, train stations, and bus stops are all nearby, making it incredibly easy to explore Hong Kong. For our stay, we booked a City View Superior Room with a Queen Bed. The room exceeded our expectations—it was spacious, bright, clean, and very comfortable. After a full day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Overall, The Kimberley Hotel offers great comfort, excellent service, and a fantastic location. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Hong Kong. Highly recommended for families, couples, and travelers looking for convenience and value!

would not recommend this hotel. stayed here for a week and one of the two available lifts on the G/F are constantly not operating, meaning it takes forever to wait for a lift to get up to the guestroom (the floor display also does not work). the room itself is serviceable enough but old. the biggest issues i had were with the bathroom. the design of the bathtub is strange with a very low side, meaning whenever i took a shower water would just go out of the tub and soak half of the bathroom floor. the showerhead doesn't come off the wall and could not be repositioned. with both the tap on the sink and in the bath, the hot and cold water controls had different knobs and it was annoying to get the temperature right, especially with the bath. service - front desk staff were unfriendly, and we suspect that not all guests were asked to place a deposit. the deposit is fine but when checking out, they took a long time to check the room and return the deposit. and not sure how it's fair when some guests don't even have to place the deposit. location is okay, but a 5-7 mins walk from the closest mtr station (tsim sha tsui). there are better options out there with a similar price.

I am very grateful that the Kimberley hotel allowed me to check-in the middle of the night as my flight arrived just after 12AM. The hotel has a classic feel as it is clearly several decades old. That means that the rooms are a bit dated, but still perfectly serviceable. On the other hand, the hallways look great. Staff were helpful and friendly and the central location makes it a great base for exploring Hong Kong.

It's central location and everything in reach is the is the best thing. The hotel itself is super clean. Rooms fully equipped and clean. Staff is super friendly and cooperative. The environment is calm and peaceful inside and happening outside. Everything is on the doorstep. All the shopping, cafes, late night vibe. I loved the hotel interior minimalistic and decent. Value for money is justified. They even keep ur luggage for the day you check out. Bathroom was super clean and elegant. Well equipped with toiletries. Overall the hotel is a 10 /10.

I really love the strategic location of The Kimberley Hotel, as it is very close to various dining and shopping spots. The room itself is spacious and modern, which is exactly why I chose the newly renovated room. The only thing that needs improvement is the room amenities; a toothbrush was not provided. Overall, it was a good stay.

The location of the hotel is superb. Since we are accompanied by kids, we needed an accommodation that is near to everything. It is near to malls, restaurants and even shops. Check in and check out was really quick. The room itself is old but it is cleaned every day and the size is fine 2 adults with 2 large luggages. It has everything we needed even iron (just need to request it).

The property benefits from a convenient location and reasonable pricing, and the rooms are more spacious than those found in many newer hotels. However, the facility is quite aged, and the rooms appear dated, with noticeable odors of smoke and sewage that may emanate from the carpeting. The staff service is rather limited, so guests should manage their expectations accordingly. Additionally, building security is minimal, as access to the guest room floors is not restricted.
