Overall, my stay at The Royal Garden Hotel was quite comfortable. The hotel has a unique charm, filled with exotic vibes and rich history that I truly appreciated. Here are the key takeaways from my experience: Location & Accessibility: Absolutely top-notch! It’s super strategic and very close to the MTR station, making it extremely convenient to explore the vibrant shopping and culinary spots around Tsim Sha Tsui. Room & Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless with no issues at all. Check-in & Service: This was where my main concern lies. The room assigned to me did not match what I had originally booked. Although the receptionist did inform me about it, the overall service didn't quite deliver the warm, welcoming hospitality expected of a 5-star hotel. Important Note: Be prepared to pay a security deposit of HKD 2,000 per night upon check-in. I still liked the hotel for its location, history, and atmosphere. With a little improvement in welcoming service for a 5 start hotel, it could be a much better experience, Thanks

I recently stayed in an Executive Suite at The Royal Garden and overall had a very pleasant experience. At the Crown Club Lounge, I was particularly impressed by Mdm Nora, whose service was warm, attentive, and professional. She was exceptionally friendly and always seemed to anticipate my needs without being intrusive—truly a credit to the team. Breakfast on the 3rd floor was also enjoyable, and I noticed Mr. Tommy working tirelessly throughout the morning—his energy and dedication did not go unnoticed. The only small suggestion would be for the Crown Club’s evening cocktail hours to include a wider selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, which would make the spread even more refreshing. All in all, a comfortable stay with excellent service, and I look forward to returning.

The hotel is in a prime location. Right near the harbor which makes visiting all the tourist sites very convenient. The service is efficient and friendly. There will always be someone holding the door for you. Our room was on the 16th floor with a partial water view. The beds were comfortable, shower pressure was great, and was overall clean. However, the room is showing a bit of age so might be time for a refresh. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay!

I recently stayed at The Royal Garden as part of a group of 43 dragon boaters for the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races, and the experience was truly five-star from start to finish. The service provided by the sales and front-office team, specifically Ray and Vincci, was outstanding. Ray was excellent during our initial negotiations, and the transition to Vincci was completely seamless. Vincci was incredibly responsive via email and WhatsApp, and even when I made a mistake regarding our room bedding configuration, she went above and beyond to rectify it for us immediately and at no cost. Their professionalism and ‘can-do’ attitude made coordinating a large group so much easier. As for the hotel itself, the entire crew was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the staff throughout the property were consistently friendly and welcoming. It is clear that The Royal Garden prides itself on high-quality service, and they certainly delivered for us. Highly recommended for both individual travelers and larger groups.

As a loyal member of the hotel's loyalty program, I always look forward to my stays at The Royal Garden, and many aspects of this visit were outstanding. The location is absolutely ideal, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The dining experience was a real highlight: the breakfast is excellent and of exceptionally high quality. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and the room service was flawless. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Lounge, which offers top-tier, quality service. However, two downsides impacted our experience, which is quite disappointing given our member status. First, the bathroom featured a bathtub instead of a modern shower. More importantly, our room had absolutely no view, despite our explicit request prior to arrival. As recognized members of the hotel, we expected a bit more consideration regarding room assignment. It is a real shame, but the overall high quality of the services remains undeniable.

Spent several days here on two occasions. Clean and spacious rooms. Gym and pool are nice and breakfast is plentiful and varied, though coffee is limited to espresso/filter. The hotel also hosts several very good restaurants and there are many around as well. Recommended.

This hotel does not quite meet the standards of a 5-star establishment; it seems more akin to a 3- or 4-star. Having traveled for the past eight months and experienced various accommodations, from hostels and homestays to hotels ranging from 2 to 5 stars, we have a good understanding of quality service. Our concerns began with the room service. Our reservation included complimentary room service, which we later discovered meant that the room would only be serviced twice a week. This was an unexpected arrangement for us. The only other time we have been responsible for making our own bed was in a hostel, which we anticipated in that context. We did bring this to the attention of the reception, and they confirmed it was complimentary room service. While "complimentary" typically implies "free," This level of service does not align with our expectations for a 5-star hotel, particularly regarding the making of beds. This hotel does not fully align with the expectations typically associated with a 5-star establishment, appearing to be more consistent with a 3- or 4-star rating.
