Kids point of view: I really enjoyed it because there was good location and food near by. We got an upgrade and a harbour view . We went to the pool and we recommend it to you!!!!! Adult point of view: excellent partial harbour view upgrade and they accomodated our family by allocating rooms next to each other. We had breakfast outside most days. We went to church on Sunday on level 4 which was so convenient and a wonderful Sunday school program. The kids made use of the playground on level 4 before we got our transfer to airport. Self laundry was excellent with both washers and dryers working well (absolute key to our family trips!). We enjoyed waking up and going for runs along the harbour. Amazing value for money for this location. Highly recommend for families, excellent cleaning each day, water refilling stations in the hotel. Enjoyed bringing food back to hotel to eat while in the comfort of our suite looking out at the harbour views. Excellent food and bakeries nearby including Bakehouse (we went to get pastries and coffee in the morning at opening time with only a short queue).

Had a great stay at the YMCA. We arrived early in the morning, so they kept our bags for us while we roamed around. The check-in service was very quick and the staff really friendly. The hotel is in a great location, close to metro stations, busses and ferries. Many restaurants and shops in the area and it’s very easy to cross the water to Central. I went running at night along the promenade but the hotel also has a very nice gym. The room was big and clean, and had everything we need. We will stay here again.

Lovely return visit to The Salisbury Hotel. Excellent communication and service prior to arrival from Joyce. All of my requests were respectfully and efficiently completed. We had a city view suite which was so spacious and perfect for our family of four adults. |Bed was huge and there was so much space. |Location is perfect. Close to TST metro station and so many shops and restaurants. |Checking out as easy and we could store our luggage until our late flight tonight.|Can’t wait to return!

Stayed in a lovely room with a partial view of the harbour. Amazing to watch during the day and spectacular at night with the lights. On clear days, you could see Victoria Peak.|The location is great on the Kowloon side. An MTR stop is right outside, and it's easy to access the other MTR lines from there. The hotel is close to the ferries, being a 10 min walk away, with the Avenue of Stars, Cultural Centre, Space Museum and Museum of Art across the road.|There are a couple of 7-11s nearby for snacks and drinks, and restaurants are abundant in the area.|A good location to base yourself and go out and explore Hong Kong.

We recently concluded a five-night stay at The Salisbury YMCA, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Hong Kong. If you are looking for a combination of comfort, convenience, and world-class views, this is the place to be. The Room and View The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the spectacular view of Victoria Harbour. Waking up to that skyline and watching the lights at night from our window was a breathtaking experience. Beyond the view, the room itself exceeded our expectations: • Cleanliness: The room was spotless upon arrival and maintained beautifully throughout our stay. • Space: There was plenty of room to move around, which is a rare find in Hong Kong hotels. • Comfort: The bed and comforter were exceptionally cozy—perfectly weighted for the local weather and making it very easy to get a good night's rest after a long day of exploring. Service and Atmosphere What really made our stay special was the warm and welcoming staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be kind to my little baby girl. As a parent, those small gestures of hospitality make a world of difference and made us feel right at home. Final Verdict The Salisbury YMCA offers a premium experience with a heart. Between the spacious, clean rooms and the unbeatable location right on the harbor, we couldn't have asked for a better home base. We will definitely be back!

Great value for the price—definitely a budget-friendly option without feeling like a compromise. The location and views were truly priceless and made the stay feel far more premium than expected. Right near the waterfront and ferry terminal. We could even see the light show from our window. Service was consistently good, and the cleanliness really stood out—even with my typically high expectations, it didn’t disappoint. We spent most of our time out exploring, but it was a comfortable and reliable base to come back to. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Subway lift across the street. Made getting to the Metro easy. Easy walking distance to the ferry terminals and the harbour.|Room was big enough to be able to unpack our cases and have our clothing and bathroom necessities out on shelves or drawers.|Staff were always helpful and friendly. Room was always clean and well presented. I'd stay here again.

Stayed in Standard Room with city view (room number 934) and it was clean, spacious and cozy. The room’s air conditioning, water heater and everything else worked well despite the age of the hotel. They charged HKD5 for toothbrush and toothpaste per HK’s regulations but provided shampoo, soap and conditioner. There was one free water refill machine though the machine was really slow and wonky. The location was good, right beside TST MTR entrance (Kowloon hotel exit) though still a walking distance to the actual train. The gym and swimming pool were of good size. I was hoping to get an upgrade to harbor view room because it was my kid’s birthday, but they provided a panda bear soft toy instead. Shoutout to Rick who walked us to our room and lent us his lighter to light up the candle for my kid’s birthday cake. That really made her day.
