Outstanding boutique Hotel experience in Hvar. My wife and I stayed three nights in Hotel Dea Hvar and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is clearly family owned and is operated with deep personalized care and professionalism that we really enjoyed. While our room was a bit small, the bathroom was great and the best part was the outside balcony that fronted to the Spanish Fortress…really cool. Breakfast included was also a big plus. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. The one down note is be ready for the stairs.

We had a wonderful two-night stay in beautiful Hvar and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent — perfect for exploring the old town, restaurants, and waterfront. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and all of the staff were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. A staff member even met us at the ferry port and kindly helped carry our bags to the hotel, which was greatly appreciated. One thing to be aware of is that Hvar’s old town is very hilly, with lots of steps and stairways, including at the hotel itself. This was not an issue for us at all, but it could be challenging for anyone with limited mobility. Overall, a fantastic stay with exceptional hospitality in a beautiful setting.

We loved this little boutique family run hotel. The twins Ivan and Maury were very helpful and friendly. We loved that the free breakfast included lavazza coifee from a real coffee machine! And custom omelets and even crepes! The room was spotlessly clean and fresh and comfortable. We opted for a superior room Not sure what we up graded to lol! I loved that they had plenty of items in the vanity area in case you needed them and a lovely tea and coffee selection if you wanted something hot after hours The location was great for coming by boat or ferry. Very close to the riva and plaza St Stephen’s.

If I could give them 6 stars I would! Amazing hotel, fantastic staff and great food. Shout out to Ante for trying to arrange a last minute wine tour for us on a rainy day. The location is great and tucked away from the busy parts of town so it was quiet. Don’t follow Google Maps from the ferry stop as it takes you all the way around when you can just walk in between the businesses to the street near the hotel (less steps). Or better yet, take Mate up on the offer to meet you and help with luggage. We wish we did. The room 202 was the best, with a terrace and couches to lounge. Comfy bed, bathroom and all the amenities you could need. Staff was so nice and food was great.

We stayed here in mid June 2026, place is gorgeous. It’s a small boutique hotel with a few rooms in a historic building in old town. As we got off the ferry, staff met us to carry the luggage, they were very friendly. It’s 3-5 min walking distance from the ferry, harbor, restaurants and main square. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Rooms were super clean but small and there was only a skylight, no windows to see the view (provided we were on the top floor); they provide Rituals toiletries. It’s a small place, there is no pool or beach club, but it’s about its charm and location.

Lovely small family owned hotel, wonderfully located in the old city, 2 min from ferry terminal (foot traffic ferries. Car ferries arrive in Stari Grad), a delicious coffee shop, Kava and all the sites. Lovely front office staff, in particular Ante, who could not have been more helpful and charming. If you stay in town, would highly recommend the Aria restaurant. One comment about the room: room 203 is very small, would not be a good choice for mobility impaired guests. Great stay!

Great hotel in historical part of Hvar, just 15 stairs from main promenade called Riva... They have great location, great breakfast, their representative will help you with the luggage and with everything you need to have memorable stay in Hvar... We stayed one night and my recommendation is minimum 2 or even 3 night's. In any case, all the best in future and see you soon.

Stayed one night. Great location though a little climb but hotel staff were very kind and helped us with luggage. Fresh and delicious breakfast. Very quiet room.
