Jal Mahal is one of the most beautiful places in Jaipur. It is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The palace looks like it is floating on water, which is the best part about it. You cannot go inside the palace as it is closed for public, but you can enjoy the view from outside and it is totally worth it. The view is especially beautiful in the morning and during sunset when the light falls on the palace and reflects in the water. The palace has a mix of Rajput and Mughal style architecture. It has 5 floors, out of which 4 floors remain under water when the lake is full. The surrounding area with Aravalli hills in the background makes it perfect for photos. There is a small market on the lakeside with Rajasthani jewellery, juttis and handicrafts. You can also enjoy camel rides and boat rides nearby. It is a very peaceful and calm place away from city noise. If you are visiting Jaipur, you must add Jal Mahal to your list. Even if you stop for 30 minutes, you will love it. Best time to visit is from October to March.

The property is big and rooms are spacious, despite in the middle of jaipur city the area is like a quiet zone. The staff specially Mr ASLAM very friendly. It was wonderful stay

A Beautiful Blend of Royalty & Hospitality We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur. The property beautifully captures the charm and grandeur of Rajasthan, while the peaceful surroundings and elegant ambience make it a perfect place to unwind. A special mention to Aslam Ji and Shiv Mathur Ji for their exceptional hospitality and genuinely helpful nature. They were always approachable, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and personal attention truly made us feel welcomed and well cared for. We would also like to appreciate Sumer, Vikram Ji, and Dharmesh for their excellent hospitality at the restaurant. Their courteous service, friendly attitude, and attention to detail made our dining experiences very pleasant. Overall, it has been a memorable stay with a wonderful combination of heritage, comfort, and warm hospitality. A big thank you to the entire team at Taj Jai Mahal Palace for making our Jaipur visit so special

Our recent stay at Jai Mahal Palace was truly exceptional and memorable. From the beautiful heritage property to the warm hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Satish (house keeping) Sunil, Madan, Bhabhesh, Aslam, and Abdullah ( marble arch ) for their outstanding service and attention to detail throughout our stay. They were incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their professionalism and hospitality added a personal touch that made our experience even more special. The overall atmosphere, food, service, and comfort at the palace were absolutely wonderful. We left with beautiful memories and would highly recommend Jai Mahal Palace to anyone looking for a luxurious and warm hospitality experience in Jaipur. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our three-night stay at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur has been truly wonderful. The palace’s magnificent heritage ambience, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality have made our stay extremely special and memorable. Considering the price being charged, the hotel is quite good overall, with beautiful interiors inspired by Mughal fine arts. The property itself has a grand and elegant appearance, and the grounds and gardens are particularly beautiful. The food, however, was quite average and extremely pricy. The biggest disappointment was the buffet lunch. For a property that looks and feels like a palace, I expected a much wider variety of dishes. There were also very limited options for fitness-conscious guests, with eggs being almost the only suitable choice. The swimming pool was another disappointment, as the water was far too shallow. The gym was also very average and could definitely be improved. On the positive side, the rooms are extremely beautiful, and the hotel staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. The way guests are greeted by the employees creates a very pleasant first impression. The gardens and overall outdoor setting are also a major highlight. Overall, my takeaway would be that this is a property worth experiencing for a one-day or short stay, especially for its architecture, interiors, gardens, and ambience. However, considering the price and the overall experience, I personally would not recommend staying for more than a day or two.

An Exceptional Stay at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur Our stay at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, genuine care, and the kind of hospitality that makes a stay feel truly special. The beautiful heritage property, serene surroundings, impeccable service, and wonderful food came together to create a fantastic experience. A special and heartfelt thank you to Abhimanyu for his outstanding hospitality. His attentiveness, warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference to our stay. Surendra and Jai Singh also deserve special mention for their thoughtful service and for making us feel so well looked after throughout our visit. The food was another highlight of our stay. Our compliments to Chef Bhavesh Burman, Chef Ravindra, and Krishan for the delicious meals and wonderful dining experience. Every meal was a pleasure, and the quality and care that went into the food were evident. We would also like to thank the welcoming front-desk team — Rimjhim, Tanu Shri, and Jyoti — for their warm welcome and courteous assistance. Above all, what stood out was the genuine warmth of the entire team. The property itself is beautiful, but it is the people who truly bring the Taj experience to life. The property is beautifully maintained and truly transports you back to the royal era of Rajasthan. The architecture, ambience, and overall experience give you a wonderful sense of heritage and grandeur. The staff is extremely courteous, warm, and helpful throughout the stay. A special mention to Aslam Ji, who took excellent care of our meals and made the dining experience even more comfortable. The property is especially recommended for families and couples travelling with kids. Our little one particularly enjoyed watching the peacocks around the property, while the evening heritage shows organised by Taj were a lovely experience for the entire family. One area that could be improved: We stayed during peak monsoon, and our Heritage Room was located in a separate six-room complex away from the main property. Due to the high humidity and rain, we noticed condensation/water droplets forming on the walls, with some water eventually reaching the floor. This was the only significant inconvenience we experienced during an otherwise wonderful stay. Overall, Taj Jai Mahal Palace offers a beautiful blend of royal heritage, excellent hospitality, and family-friendly experiences. Highly recommended.
