The hotel is quite nice and stay was very pleasent. I was here for a corporate event and it was very well organized. In the rush, I forgot my laptop here which I realized 6 hours later at the airport at security while I was catching my flight. The entire staff was very helpful even at night, and I would like to specifically mention Mr. Adarsh. He gave me the comfort and went out of the way to courier my laptop safely to my home. Really thankful to the wonderful staff of the Lalit and the kind of culture they have built it in to the hotel. Regards|Kedar

I visited The Lalit Jaipur between 19th and 21st September, and my overall experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the reputation and standard expected from a hotel of this level. The parking area was extremely unpleasant. There was a very strong smell and poor ventilation, making it uncomfortable to even stand there for a few minutes. We later went to the dining area, where the service was extremely slow. We were not even offered basic drinking water until we specifically asked for it. We ordered a pizza and had to wait for almost an hour before it was served. The billing experience was also not very transparent. The menu showed one price, while additional taxes and a separate service charge were added to the final bill. While applicable taxes and charges are understandable, it would be much better if all additional charges were clearly communicated beforehand. Overall, the biggest issue was the service. For a hotel like The Lalit, I expected much better hospitality, responsiveness and attention to guests. Unfortunately, my experience during 19th–21st September did not meet those expectations at all. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the cleanliness, ventilation, service speed and billing transparency.

I’m currently staying at The Lalit Jaipur, and unfortunately, the experience so far has been nothing short of disappointing. I reached my room and noticed that the bathroom sink wasn’t connected to the drainage properly, so the water simply flows onto the bathroom floor. What’s more disappointing is that even after 1–1.5 hours, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. There has been repeated back-and-forth, staff coming to inspect the room, and then long periods with no communication or update. Even getting through to the reception has taken around 5–10 minutes on multiple occasions. At this price point, I’m not expecting excessive luxury or special treatment. I simply expect the basic facilities in the room to be checked and functional before a guest is given the room, and I expect reasonable responsiveness when an issue does arise. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously, because these are basic aspects of the guest experience that should be handled much better.

Extremely disappointing experience with The Lalit Jaipur I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Lalit Jaipur, particularly with the way my complaint was handled. I took the time to formally write to the hotel and raise the issue, expecting at the very least a basic acknowledgement or response. Unfortunately, there has been no response to my complaint at all. For a hotel of this reputation and positioning, completely ignoring a guest's complaint is simply unacceptable. Mistakes and service issues can happen at any hotel, but what truly matters is how the management responds when a guest brings an issue to their attention. In this case, the lack of accountability and communication has been far more disappointing than the original experience. The experience has left me questioning the level of guest service and professionalism at The Lalit Jaipur. If a formal complaint can simply be ignored, it raises serious concerns about how seriously guest feedback is actually taken. I would strongly encourage anyone considering staying here to keep their expectations realistic. A premium name and impressive property do not necessarily translate into premium customer service.

I recently stayed at The Lalit Jaipur expecting a comfortable and well-managed 5-star experience. Unfortunately, several issues related to housekeeping, food quality, service, communication, and basic guest facilities made the stay quite disappointing. Food and breakfast service The breakfast options were very limited. Because the hotel was fully occupied, breakfast was shifted to the first floor, where the service was extremely slow. I requested hot coffee from a waiter and waited for approximately 30 minutes, but it was still not served. During breakfast at Baluchi, I found a hair-like strand in my paratha, as shown in the attached photograph. This is a serious hygiene concern. The manager was present and moving around the restaurant, but the issue was not properly acknowledged or addressed, and there was no meaningful apology or follow-up. There were also occasions when even basic cutlery was not provided, which is difficult to understand at a property positioned as a 5-star hotel. Cultural event communication We were informed that a cultural event would take place between 8:00 and 9:00 PM. However, when we went to attend it, we were told that the event would not take place because the venue had been booked for another function. As paying guests, we should not be left disappointed because the hotel has accepted another booking. If an event is cancelled or the venue is unavailable, guests should be informed proactively. Any experience communicated to in-house guests should either be honoured or clearly updated in advance. Poor pre-arrival communication Before our stay, I emailed the hotel to ask whether something special or a better experience could be arranged for us. Unfortunately, the email was ignored, and I received no response even after 6–7 days. This gave the impression that guest requests and communication are not taken seriously. Room condition and housekeeping The room also did not meet the expected standard: • The television was very old and outdated. • There were visible cobwebs, or jala, inside the room. • The doors were dirty and had visible marks. • The overall condition raised concerns about how regularly and properly the rooms are being cleaned and inspected. Swimming pool policy We were not allowed to use the swimming pool while wearing cotton clothing. However, this restriction was not clearly communicated during booking, check-in, or in the pool information. If the hotel has a specific dress-code policy, it should be clearly mentioned wherever the swimming pool is advertised and communicated to guests before they arrive at the facility. Guests should not be surprised or turned away at the last moment. Overall experience There was no meaningful welcome gesture on arrival apart from one welcome drink. Considering the price paid and the hotel’s 5-star positioning, the overall experience did not feel worth the money. The property itself may look good, but the service, housekeeping, food hygiene, communication, maintenance, and attention to detail need significant improvement. I hope the management reviews the attached food photograph and takes corrective action, particularly regarding kitchen hygiene and quality control.

I stayed at Hotel The Lalit Jaipur on 5th September, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. For a hotel of this reputation, the facilities and overall experience were nowhere close to what I would expect, not even at a 3-star level. The breakfast experience was particularly poor. I was shocked to find unwashed/unclean glasses being used for tea and coffee, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The room also had a damp, humid smell, which made the stay uncomfortable and gave the impression that proper ventilation or maintenance was lacking. I must mention that the hospitality and staff behavior were good, and the staff were courteous and helpful. However, good hospitality alone cannot compensate for shortcomings in cleanliness, maintenance, and basic facilities. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvement in hygiene, room maintenance, breakfast standards, and overall upkeep. Given the brand and the expectations associated with it, I was expecting a much better experience.
