I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and super comfortable. The location is highly strategic, just about a 5-minute walk from the Setiabudi MRT station, making it so easy to get around. The food was absolutely delicious and suited my taste perfectly. But what truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional, above-average hospitality. The front office staff were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. The level of service here is truly 5-star quality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it!

The cleanliness is so bad, the condition inside the hotel that has very good is only at the lobby, but when it come to the corridor direct you to your room, the condition is bad, the room condition also bad, the toilet is not clean, the toilet bowl also bad condition. At first I choose this hotel because it shows 5 star, I booked for 4 days and 3 night. But when I arrived a bit late to indonesia at 8 pm, body also got so much hectic, and the room condition is like hell, I cannot tolerate anymore. I just stay for 1 night and tomorrow on second day I booking for another hotel. I try to get the refund from the hotel, even I know that the policy is non refund but this matter and flaws is not from me, but from the hotel itself, who can stand to stay at this kind of room. I even don't get the refund. So I choose to choose other hotel. Overall is very bad2 experience ever in this hotel. The good thing is only their staff, their staff is very2 good, but the condition of the hotel is not recommended at all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have stayed here several times and always found it to be a comfortable and reliable place to stay. The location is quite excellent, with convenient access to the MRT and several key destinations around the city. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although the furniture and overall interior are a bit 90s for me. Despite that, everything is functional and comfortable. The food is also good, making it a pleasant option for both short and longer stays. Overall, it offers good value in a strategic location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta was a wonderful experience. The hotel has a warm atmosphere, comfortable facilities, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to arulfor being so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. His hospitality really made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Definitely a memorable experience, and I would love to come back again 🤩🫶🏻!!!!

A hotel with a charming traditional Javanese ambiance, featuring spacious and comfortable rooms with cold central air conditioning. Security is excellent thanks to key card access and a room cleaning indicator system. The breakfast selection is diverse and delicious. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always smiling, and quick to assist guests whenever needed. The hotel also offers separate swimming pools for children and adults. On the downside, the rooms are not very soundproof, there is no Qibla direction indicator, and the city view overlooks an abandoned construction project.

It was great experience here. Very tight sleep. Fresh air. Oh..of cource, very kindness of all employees. Especially Talia who work at reception desk has pretty smile and attractive to customers to help any difficult of customeres and gave good answers. She looks like enjoy her work a lot. Thanks for me to stay at wonderful place. Be happy every employee!!!

I stayed at the Grand Shahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta and came away with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the lobby and entrance are attractive and make a good first impression, and the location is quite central, which was convenient for getting around the city. Unfortunately, the positives largely end there. The bathrooms seem to have been designed for someone around five feet tall. If you’re any taller, the mirror sits too low to see your own face when standing straight, and the shower is awkward to use without hunching. It’s a strange oversight for a hotel positioning itself at the 4-star end. Cleanliness was another disappointment. The room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned — I noticed spots and mold on the shower curtain. More concerning, the water coming out of the shower ran a reddish color for a moment before eventually turning clear, which doesn’t inspire confidence. Overall, this hotel markets itself above its actual level. It bills itself as four star, but in reality it feels more like a two or three star property. If you’re used to genuine four or five star hotels, you’ll likely be let down. The location is its main redeeming quality, but that alone wasn’t enough for me to consider returning.

It's an old luxury hotel which located near Setiabudi Astra MRT station exit and across Chillax (outdoor food courts), the room was okay but got cigarette smell lingering around the beds. One thing I didn't expect was the noises from outside for the whole night, I dont know if it was because the windows were not closed properly or they just dont have soundproof windows. If youre looking for a hotel in central Jakarta, this could be an option, but make sure to get a soundproofed room so u can get better rest while youre staying here
