A large modern business hotel from the IHG chain and as such it's comfortable and clean, though lacking in intimacy. Room was a good size by Japanese standards with all mod-cons. Breakfast was very good (western & japanese catered for). And the front desk staff were friendly and attentive. It's a nice place and convenient but you could be in Houston, Paris, Cairo - there's little to tell you this is Japan.

Two amazing points I want to highlight about Crowne Plaza Kanazawa: Firstly, Noriko-san from the front desk! We really cannot thank her enough for helping to get my husband’s wallet back. He had accidentally left it behind on the limited express train we took to Kanazawa, and it ended up far away at a terminal station in another prefecture. Noriko-san was incredibly helpful and efficient - she made several phone calls back and forth to first contact the JR Lost and Found and locate the wallet, and then coordinated with them and our next hotel to arrange for the wallet to be delivered there. The wallet not only contained expensive train tickets but also precious photos and memories inside, so we were incredibly relieved to get it back. Another thing that stood out for me at this hotel was their delicious breakfast buffet. It came with 10 specially curated signature dishes exclusive to Kanazawa. My favourite was their “15 Ultimate Bread Toppings”, which included unique, flavourful spreads such as seaweed mascarpone, salmon cream and mushroom butter. Overall, our stay here was definitely a delightful and enjoyable one. Location was great given the close proximity to the train station, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again.

This is an old property but main reason staying at this property is due to its proximity to the train station. Plenty of restaurants around and walking distance (for me) to most attractions. I don't see the usual firm and soft pillow found elsewhere but they are good enough for me. Service at this property... simply exceptional.

The location is Great! If you come to Toyama, definitely stay near the JR station. It is where the bus tour pick up spot, and terminal of local buses. The hotel is a bit aged in the interior style, however really nicely maintained. The Japanese restaurant has a beautiful garden lit up with good atmosphere. Food is really well arranged and fresh and tasteful. They use really beautiful plates and bowls with a feel of luxury touch. I was happy to eat at the Japanese restaurant and avoid all of the crowds outside. A nice surprise is the volume of welcome amenity. Bath salt, local desert, local tea drinks, and dry wakashi! It makes me feel satisfied and welcomed immediately! Breakfast was upgraded from my last visit. With the new breakfast menu, there are more local flavors and contents added. Love the mini-hako Sushi made to order. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I am very happy with my stay, and happy with the good value.

A Peaceful First Stay in Kanazawa As a Filipino traveler visiting Japan, my first stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kanazawa was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the hotel was, reflecting the high standards Japan is known for. Its location is incredibly convenient—perfect for shopping, with the mall just a short walking distance away, making it easy to explore without hassle. Despite being centrally located, the hotel offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing. I especially enjoyed the calm ambiance, which made my stay relaxing and comfortable. The food was another highlight; both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied my taste. Overall, ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kanazawa exceeded my expectations, and I am already looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

We arrived with a reservation of three adults and a kid (11 years old), and there was no bed for the kid neither breakfast, we had to pay extra for a bed for him and his breakfast. So, what they do with kids?. No sleep neither breakfast?. Why we have the possibility to choose kid reservation if there is no bed neither breakfast?. Nobody explained, and we have to pay extra. Very disappointed!!!

Great location, small, very small rooms where you can’t have either suitcase out or you can’t move around the room. The room was very tied with marks all over the walls. Bed was good, no room in bathroom at all for toiletries. Smaller than a ship cabin For a four star hotel very very disappointing
