Large clean room, en-suite & hot water. Very comfortable bed. Effective air conditioning. Beautifully located in walking distance of Lions rock with a fabulous well maintained pool (perfect for a refreshing dip in the heat here). Trips to sightseeing locations can be arranged at very reasonable rates. Breakfasts are delicious. The USP for this place is the fabulous staff who go above and beyond to make your stay special and memorable. We felt like we were leaving new friends behind when we left. You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location outside Kandy with spectacular views of the jungle hillside. Troupes of monkeys are a regular sight.For us the downside was the difficulty in getting tuk-tuk or taxi to come and take us anywhere. We were using Uber or PickMe. The rating we gave for the hotel is quite a subjective one, if you have other means of transport or connect with a dedicated driver, then it's fine. And if you want peace and quiet it might be perfect for you.Kandy itself is the rip-off centre of Sri Lanka. Everyone seems to want to charge tourists silly prices, even the supermarkets overcharge on prices printed on the packets. Having said that, the staff at the hotel weren't like that at all and were very friendly and helpful.

28th of december we celebrated our daughter’s 2nd birthday at Green heaven resort .Had a wonderful stay.The location was perfect❤️ hotel staff made us feel at home.its spacious, and had all the amenities we needed .Thank you Lakmal Akuratiya for your support❤️ (owner)

On approach to the hotel the surrounding area was amazing, if you want a jungle vibe then this hotel is for you. The staff on arrival were very polite and helpful. They showed us to our room which was clean and had the small special touches needed, towels, soap, kettle, cups, glasses, bottles of water. It was a very good size with an au-suite bathroom with shower, large bed with extra quilt if needed, air con which is so important in a very humid, hot environment. The view from the balcony was of the jungle, palm trees growing up right outside the balcony, absolutely stunning spectacular view. The relaxing areas and dining room were again very clean with a view from every angle you sat at. The staff were very attentive to your needs the food choice was good and it was hot and delicious. The top floor outside space had views to die for, the sounds from the animals were amazing. If I was to stay for longer periods in this hotel I would rent a small car to get around as the drive up to the hotel was long and up hill which for the views was worth it.

The view from the hotel balcony and the breakfast room is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was good too with eggs , sausages, bread, butter and jam, fruits, juice and coffee or tea. The staff is very friendly . We took a tuk tuk to the railway station for 400 SLR through the pick me app.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of the jungle, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Don't miss out on the Srilankan breakfast - it's delicious! The owner's son went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even taking us to a nearby waterfall. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience after a not good time at another hotel. It really was heaven. Stunning views, beautiful local wildlife, friendly staff, amazing food (Sri Lankan breakfast especially recommended!). We were greeted after a long journey by wonderful staff with delicious juice drinks. Good wi-fi. Clean and comfortable rooms with convenient plug sockets. Ask for a room with a view. So relaxing. I wish we had been able to stay here for more of our trip. Highly recommended.
