Google· 11 months agoThe hotel's own restaurant and café are easy choices. L'Artisan at Harsha Boutique Hotel serves dishes like Murgh Tikka Masala, Fish Moilee, and French Toast Combo. The connected L'Artisan Cafe is also there for coffee and room service. Thamel is full of places to eat, and a Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour can introduce you to more local spots. From the hotel, you are a short stroll to the Garden of Dreams (4 minutes) and Kathmandu Durbar Square (15 minutes), where cafes and eateries cluster.
You are in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu's lively shopping and dining district, with the Garden of Dreams just a 4-minute walk away. Ratna Park is a 12-minute stroll, and Skywalk Tower Kathmandu is 13 minutes on foot. The historic Hanumandhoka Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square are both within a 15-minute walk, making it easy to explore the old city. For a longer outing, Swayambhu Mahachaitya is 2.1 km away. The hotel's own Cafe and Restaurant offer convenient dining right on site.
From Tribhuvan airport, which is about 5 km away, the hotel offers an airport shuttle for a direct arrival. A taxi or ride-hailing service is the simplest option and takes roughly half an hour. If you prefer public transport, the Micro to Banyitar bus stop is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is well connected, so you'll reach Thamel easily.

For evening sightseeing, Hanumandhoka Durbar Square is a 14-minute walk, and Kathmandu Durbar Square is 15 minutes on foot. A Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour is a popular option for exploring the area's flavors after dark. From the hotel, you can easily head to Skywalk Tower Kathmandu, just a 13-minute walk away, for city views.
Harsha Boutique Hotel is a great base for exploring Kathmandu. Within a short walk you can reach Garden of Dreams in 4 minutes, Ratna Park in 12 minutes, Skywalk Tower Kathmandu in 13 minutes, and Hanumandhoka Durbar Square in 14 minutes. Kathmandu Durbar Square is just 15 minutes on foot, with Kasthamandap a minute further. For Swayambhu Mahachaitya, 2.1 km away, a taxi or ride-hailing service is the easiest way to get there.
