What a wonderful stay, courtesy The Ambassador Hotel Kathmandu, Nepal. We stayed at the hotel from 22nd june26... to 26thJune 2026 and truly, it was one of the most memorable holidays of ours. All of it was thanks to the warm hospitality of the hotel staff who were there for us 24x7; they looked after us impeccably. The food and waitstaff were absolutely on point. Cleanliness and room service was remarkable. The check-in and check-out was seamless and above all, the concierge made us an itinerary that showed us through all of Kathmandu...Thank you all and God Bless. My overall stay at this hotel was very good. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, and the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. Facilities met expectations and most aspects of the stay were enjoyable.However, I did experience a major disturbance during the night due to construction work happening around midnight. It woke me up, and I had to call twice before the noise finally stopped. For future guests, I strongly suggest ensuring that no construction or maintenance work is carried out during sleeping hours, especially when guests are in adjacent rooms.Aside from this incident, everything else was excellent, and I would still consider staying here again.

This hotel is situated on Lazimpat Road and is very nearby to the Tribhuvan international airport, Pashupatinath temple within 3-4 km range. The famous Thamel market is mere 10min walk from the hotel. The rooms are super nice with all amenities in perfect condition. Staff is very nice and attentive. Service is super quick. It is great value for money.

Had an amazing experience at the Ambassador Hotel rooftop bar! The atmosphere, views, and drinks were fantastic, but what really made the evening special was the excellent service from Sworup, the bartender. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and made an excellent signature cocktail that was absolutely delicious. His knowledge and passion for cocktails really stood out. Thank you, Sworup, for making our evening so memorable. Highly recommended—definitely ask for Sworup if you visit the bar! 🍸✨

Very nice experience . We come here often for their roof top bar . They serve Sherpa red too quite unusual but really good for beer lovers like me . I stayed overnight to check their rooms and service and found extremely satisfying. Thanks to Safal Thapa Magar from the reception who went way above and beyond to serve his customers . Highly recommended.

My husband and I were at the Foreign Affairs restaurant for our dinner and it was an amazing. The food and the vibe was nice. A mention to Bhuwan Ghale whose attentive and excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable! Highly recommended
