My wife and I stayed here during a recent trip to Nepal. Check-in was smooth. The facilities were colonial but modern. The staff was excellent! Breakfast was included in our price. It was buffet style and the staff was as very attentive. We ate dinner outside on the patio and the prices were very reasonable. We needed a late checkout due to my wife and I making khukri knives at a local forge. Not a problem. We just told them our situation and they accommodated us with no questions. The security staff not only made us feel safe but they paid special attention to the motorcycle I rented for the week. One of the guards actually took the time to wipe down the seat when he saw me walking up with my helmet in my hands. The location was an easy stroll from the Thamel area of town. Upon checkout, we were so happy with the hotel that we requested a room at the end of our vacation as well.

I stayed here for 6 days during my visit to Nepal. The service and the food were really good. The Hotel has a nice vibe through a lot of things and pictures from the past. The first room I stayed was excellent but the second room were I moved to after my trek was noisy and the WiFi was not working. After complaining I immediately got another room.

I enjoy coming back here. It’s a beautiful heritage property surrounded by greenery, and although it’s close to the main road, being tucked just inside means it feels peaceful and isn’t too noisy. The service is excellent, especially Saroj bhai, who even remembered us from our visit a couple of months ago. The food is consistently great too. I first came here on the recommendation of family and friends, and liked it so much that I keep coming back every time I’m in Kathmandu. It’s become one of those places that feels familiar and always worth returning to

Really enjoyed my stay at Maya Manor Hotel in Thamel. The room was comfortable which was especially nice after a busy day exploring Kathmandu. The staff were welcoming. The location is also very convenient. A lovely stay overall!!
