Our stay at Banyan Tree Samui was a relaxing experience. The tranquility of the resort, together with the beautiful ocean-view pool villa, made every moment feel like a private paradise. Waking up to the stunning sea view and enjoying the serenity of our villa were undoubtedly among the highlights of our stay.One of the most magical moments was witnessing the sunrise from our villa. The panoramic view of the sun rising over the ocean was simply breathtaking and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and picture-perfect experiences the resort has to offer. It is a sight that we will cherish.A special thank you to Khun Note from the Octopus Kids’ Club. Her friendliness, warmth, and easy-going personality immediately made our family feel at home. She has a wonderful way of connecting with both children and adults, and her genuine care and cheerful spirit truly warmed our hearts and made our children’s experience even more enjoyable.We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Khun Nook, who accompanied my wife and me on the morning resort jog and patiently taught me how to sail a boat. In addition to being an excellent instructor, he was wonderful company and a pleasure to chat with during the activities. His passion, friendliness, and positive energy added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.While the staff were generally friendly and courteous, we believe there are opportunities to further elevate the guest experience, particularly in terms of attentiveness and personalization. During breakfast at The Edge and in our interactions with our assigned butler, we felt that the level of engagement and anticipation of guests’ needs could be enhanced. Given Banyan Tree’s reputation for exceptional hospitality, we had hoped for a more personalized experience that would make guests feel truly special. We share this feedback with the utmost respect and in the spirit of continuous improvement.Overall, we left with positive memories and are grateful for the hospitality extended to us.

It was very convenient to communicate with our Villa Host through the app. Our host, Kah, was always warm and welcoming, with a wonderful smile, and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The villa was spacious, and we especially enjoyed having our own private pool, which made our stay even more relaxing. We were also very happy with the special decorations prepared in our villa to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made the occasion even more memorable. Another highlight was being able to snorkel right from the hotel’s private beach. It was very convenient and a wonderful way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to leave the resort. There were only two things that did not quite suit our personal preferences: the closet space was a little limited, and the bed was firmer than we prefer. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Beautiful resort with excellent service from the staff. We stayed for a week and were especially happy with the hospitality, as a group of 8pax we were bound to have all sorts of last min request but the staff were so accommodating and patience with us. Resort also provided lots of activities for us do with the kids as well as improvised for us. Our villa host, MM was very responsive and replied to our request fast. We had a wonderful massage from Charlene and Massy too. I would recommend to stay in this resort for anyone who wants to enjoy a luxury and quiet time as couple or with family. We managed to take a photo of a beautiful night sky on one of the night while walking back to our villa. Overall, we were all very please and kids were a little reluctant to go back home.

Our recent stay at Banyan Tree Samui was truly exceptional and left us with wonderful memories.|The service was outstanding from beginning to end: from the smooth airport pickup upon arrival to the drop-off for our departure. A very special shout-out to our villa host, MM, who made everything effortless for us. MM seamlessly arranged all our activities and experiences, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every moment.|Some of our favorite experiences included a beautiful destination dinner by the beach and a wonderfully relaxing massage at the spa. The buggy service was always remarkably quick, and every staff member we met, from breakfast and the restaurants to the spa and lobby, was genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming.|We arrived rather late in the evening, but the check-in staff still gave us a full and heartfelt welcome, carefully showing us around and introducing every part of the villa. The welcome and farewell drinks were thoughtful touches that made both our arrival and departure feel special.|The housekeeping service also deserves particular praise. The team always seemed to visit while we were out for a meal, and whenever we returned, it felt as though the villa had magically become spotless and beautifully organized again. Everything was consistently clean, and the wonderful aroma throughout the villa created an especially peaceful and luxurious atmosphere.|Then there was the breathtaking view. Our villa was located near the top of the hill, with an extraordinary panoramic view of the sea. Every morning at around 6 a.m., we would step outside and find the ocean and sunrise waiting for us, it was an unforgettable way to begin each day.|It is difficult to find a place quite like Banyan Tree Samui. Whether you are traveling as a couple or with family, it is the perfect destination to slow down, completely unwind, and feel genuinely cared for. A very special mention goes to Golf, our villa host, who went above and beyond to make my partner’s birthday celebration truly special. His thoughtfulness, attentiveness and genuine care made all the difference. He ensured that every detail was beautifully taken care of, allowing us to fully enjoy the occasion and create wonderful memories. We are incredibly grateful for his efforts in making the celebration so meaningful. Another highlight of our stay was the exceptional spa experience. Marsi and Charlene were both fantastic therapists, demonstrating great professionalism, skill and attentiveness throughout our treatments. She was kind, thoughtful, and always available whenever needed. What stood out the most was her sincere hospitality — she never made anything feel like a formality. Every interaction was warm, personal, and reassuring, which made the entire stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The level of follow-up and guest care at Banyan Tree is truly impressive. Hands down is the best luxury stay we’ve had. We chose Banyan Tree for a 5 day stay during our honeymoon in Thailand and absolutely had our breaths taken away - stunning villas, the gorgeous resort and beach, but truly it was the STAFF who made this the phenomenal experience that it was. Examples of them going above and beyond: - They become familiar with you and your patterns, remembering details you mentioned previously even with a short stay - Always friendly and helpful in seemingly small ways but that make a huge difference - Bringing evening cookies to our room and small gifts Truly, there was never a time where the service was anything other than warm, inviting, professional, organized, and genuinely committed to evoking a memorable experience. Some special shout outs to: - I believe it was Am who was our kind and thorough Villa host - Ann at breakfast service who was always greeting us with a smile and lovely chat - Anna and Tai down at the beach/restaurant who were incredibly attentive and sweet - All of the environmental services staff who cleaned our room and pool daily (and always offered to come twice, again in the evening!) The food was excellent, the private beach was clean and a lot of fun (many activities down there). I do wish there were some additional activities offered (more hands-on, exercise/water activities that are offered multiple days in between) but other than this there are no concerns. Overall truly a quiet highlight and we plan to come back in 10 years with hopefully a bigger family.
