We had a wonderful stay at Celes Samui with our family. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. We stayed in the beachfront pool villa. The room was spacious, luxurious, and had an amazing sea view that made every morning special. The facilities are excellent, with a lovely pool, direct beach access, fitness room and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. We also really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was always attentive and friendly. What impressed us the most, however, was the way the hotel management handled an issue we experienced during our stay. Although the situation itself was unfortunate, the manager listened carefully, communicated openly and professionally, and made every effort to resolve it in a fair and customer-focused manner. That level of genuine care and service deserves recognition. Overall, we leave Celes Samui with very positive memories and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay on Koh Samui. We hope to return in the future.

Overall, a mixed stay and for me closer to 3/5. I stayed in a Tropical Villa and my mother in a Tropical Deluxe. Both rooms were very spacious, clean and in good condition, and the hotel grounds and pool are nicely maintained. The biggest negative was the bed. The mattress was very hard, and the added topper did not help much. The air conditioning also blows directly onto the bed and is not especially quiet. Water pressure in the villa was weak, and the Tropical Deluxe had enough street noise that my mother needed earplugs. Staff were generally friendly, housekeeping was good and reception helpful. However, some things felt overly rigid or only partly thought through. For example, we were not allowed to sit at the empty restaurant tables late in the evening to eat fruit from the market because outside food was not permitted. Breakfast had some good parts: the omelette station, noodle soup, fruit and salad were very nice. The pastries were poor. What was also annoying was that at 10:00 sharp they started removing the entire buffet very quickly, even while many guests were still eating, so breakfast often felt unnecessarily rushed. At checkout, the hotel kindly arranged a room for us to shower because late checkout was not possible. That was appreciated, but the organisation was not ideal: the golf cart was not ready and my wife, mother and I were all given the same room to shower in. The beach is okay but not particularly idyllic. The sand is quite coarse, the beach gets narrow at high tide, and at low tide the seabed can feel slimy. Fisherman’s Village is about a 15–20 minute walk along the beach, and there are two 7-Elevens near Lobby 1. Value was average. We paid around CHF 87 for the Tropical Deluxe and CHF 135 for the Tropical Villa. Overall, Celes Samui is clean, spacious and visually pleasant, with friendly staff, but too many parts of the stay felt slightly rigid, rushed or not fully thought through. I would probably try another hotel next time.

We’ve had an amazing stay at Celes Samui! The rooms, amenities, and service have all been exceptional, but what truly stands out is the kindness and warmth of the staff. A special shout-out to Kae, who was absolutely wonderful and always gave us the best recommendations during our meals. Her friendliness and genuine care made our experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with a few important points worth noting.The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options—everything you need for a tasty and satisfying start to the day. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, which was a nice touch.We upgraded to a villa for an additional €50, but it turned out to be a single house divided into two separate rooms. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was extremely poor—everything happening in the neighboring room could be heard as if it was right next to us. So if you’re looking for privacy and quiet, it really depends on having considerate neighbors.The villa itself was spacious and comfortable, which we liked. However, the towels were disappointing. In the gym, they smelled unpleasant and looked very worn, as if they hadn’t been properly refreshed in a long time. The towels in the room smelled fine but appeared old and grey, not fresh as expected.One thing we really appreciated was the hotel’s environmentally friendly approach. Towels and bed linen are changed only when necessary, and water is provided in glass bottles instead of plastic. It’s clear that the hotel is making an effort to reduce its environmental impact, which we found very commendable.In summary, while there are many positives—especially the staff, breakfast, eco-friendly concept, and room size—there are some issues with noise insulation and towel quality that the hotel should address.

​Zero empathy, terrible customer service, and a complete lack of flexibility. We booked 2 rooms at Celes Koh Samui, but due to the war breaking out in Israel, traveling became impossible. Instead of showing basic understanding in a clear force majeure situation, the hotel flatly refused to cancel or issue a refund.|​We attempted to reach every fair compromise: we asked them to resell the rooms to other guests or simply reschedule our stay for next year. Management rejected every single option without hesitation and kept 100% of our money.|​A hotel's true standards are tested during times of crisis, and SLS Koh Samui proved they care only about profit, not guest satisfaction or basic humanity. Think twice before booking here if you value flexibility or decent customer support.

A truly wonderful resort! With three beautiful pools to choose from, there's always a quiet, relaxing spot to unwind. The service was excellent — friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, giving us plenty of room to feel comfortable. It's a fun place that's perfect for the whole family. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it.

We had such an amazing and unforgettable experience at this hotel! ❤️ Our daughter celebrated her 7th birthday during our stay, and the hotel team made it truly magical. We were so touched by the effort and care they put into making her feel special. They prepared a beautiful personal birthday cake for her, and the entire team came together on the beach to sing Happy Birthday during the fire show. It was such a beautiful and emotional moment for our family, and especially for our daughter — a 7th birthday she will never forget! 🎂🔥🏝️ Beyond this wonderful surprise, everything about our stay was excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and very pleasant, and the whole hotel felt relaxing, welcoming, and well cared for. A huge thank you to the entire team for your warmth, kindness, and for creating such special memories for our family. You made our daughter's 7th birthday — and our vacation in Thailand — even more memorable. A very special thank you to Kae — we will always remember you and your kindness. ❤️❤️ We highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back again! ❤️🙏

Celes Samui is a beautiful resort with a stunning atmosphere and very attractive staff! Kae looked after us during our visit and provided fantastic service, making the experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui. Definitely worth a visit! 🌴✨
