For Future Guests 🌴 Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort is a local family-owned 3-star beachfront property, located within our small family village at the peaceful southernmost end of Chaweng Beach. Central Chaweng is approximately 5 minutes by car or around 20–30 minutes on foot, depending on where you are going. Our village is actually part of our family's home and community, where family businesses, small shops, hotels, resorts, and local residents have lived and worked together for many years. Guests can easily find restaurants, massage, laundry, transportation services, and 24-hour TOPS Daily nearby. Our resort consists of two accommodation areas—the Deluxe Building and Seaside Bungalows—separated by a small village road. Guests staying in the Deluxe Building take a short walk through the Seaside Bungalow area to reach the beach. All guests can enjoy two swimming pools, our beachfront, sun loungers, and beach bar. Grandmom Restaurant serves our simple breakfast from 8:00 AM–11:00 AM and remains open until 5:00 PM as a seating area. We would also like to be transparent that Bhundhari Chaweng is not a luxury-style resort. Guests looking for brand-new, perfect, or luxury accommodation may prefer another type of property. For travellers who value peace, simplicity, local character, beach access, convenient surroundings, and reasonable value close to Chaweng Beach, we hope our small village can be a good choice. Since COVID, we have followed our Continuous Improvement Policy. As a local family business, we cannot close the whole resort for a complete renovation at once. Instead, we continue repairing, replacing, renovating, and improving room by room and area by area according to our available budget. We know there is always more we can improve, and our improvement will never stop. Our team is mainly local, and although some members have limited English, they always try their best to help with sincerity and kindness. If a room does not meet your expectations before or during check-in, please inform us immediately. We can inspect the room together, offer another room when available, or discuss cancellation and a refund before completing check-in. Please also note that cannabis smoking is not permitted anywhere within our hotel and resort. Our beachfront is also shared with a small local fishing community, which remains an important part of the authentic character of this peaceful end of Chaweng. Above all, we live with Love, Kindness, and Respect. Regarding your comment about some furniture and equipment being a bit older, you are absolutely right that the resort has been established for some time. We continue to maintain the property carefully and gradually improve the facilities step by step while keeping the relaxed charm of a classic seaside resort. For the information of future guests, Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort is not located directly in the center of Chaweng. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk or about a 5-minute ride to reach the main Chaweng city center and nightlife area. Many guests enjoy this location because it offers a quieter and more peaceful environment while still being close to the lively areas when they wish to visit. In addition, our resort has two accommodation areas. The Seaside Bungalows and Beachfront Villas are located closer to the beach and the seaside swimming pool, while the Deluxe Building rooms are located in the village area. We are sorry if your arrival experience made you feel otherwise, and we regret that you felt unsupported during your stay. We sincerely apologize for the concerns you mentioned regarding the room condition, humidity, cleanliness, bed quality, and communication with our team. While we openly acknowledge that our resort is long established and some rooms and facilities are older, we are committed to maintaining clean, comfortable, and functional accommodation while continuously renovating and improving our property step by step. We are especially sorry to hear that you felt unable to speak with management. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our team so that we can improve our communication and guest assistance. One point we would like to share with future guests is that every traveller has different expectations and travel styles. Some guests are looking for a simple, peaceful, good-value beachfront holiday, while others may be expecting a newer or luxury-style resort. We fully respect these different expectations. Jacuzzi facilities are available at Bhundhari Residence or Bhundhari Resort & Villa, which are separate properties under our group. We are away from the busiest part of Chaweng, while the main center is approximately 5 minutes by car or around 20–30 minutes on foot. Our resort has two accommodation areas. The Deluxe Building and Seaside Bungalows are separated by a small road inside our local village. Guests staying in the Deluxe Building simply walk a few minutes through the Seaside Bungalow area to reach the beach. All our guests can enjoy two swimming pools, our main Chaweng beachfront, beach sun loungers, and beach bar. Guests can also access nearby Chaweng Noi Beach through The First Restaurant. Grandmom Restaurant is our simple local breakfast restaurant within the village. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM–11:00 AM, and the restaurant remains open until 5:00 PM as a seating area. There are also several affordable local restaurants, massage shops, and 24-hour TOPS Daily nearby. Since COVID, we have been gradually renovating and improving our rooms and facilities according to our available budget. First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in the Deluxe Pool Access room, especially regarding the bathroom condition and the air-conditioning unit. Your comfort and health are very important to us, and we are sorry to hear that your boyfriend experienced airway irritation during the stay. As you mentioned, our team immediately cleaned the air-conditioning unit when the concern was raised, and we truly appreciate your understanding while our staff tried their best to assist. We are also very glad to know that after moving to the Seaside Beachfront Villa, your experience improved and that you enjoyed the larger space, the cleanliness, and the location just steps from the beach and the seaside pool. Many guests do enjoy these villas for the direct beach atmosphere and ocean view. For the information of future guests, Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort has two different accommodation areas. The Deluxe Building rooms, including the pool access rooms, are located in the village area of the resort, while the Seaside Bungalows and Beachfront Villas are located closer to the beach and the seaside swimming pool. The two areas are separated by a small village road but remain within comfortable walking distance from each other. In addition, Bhundhari Chaweng is not located directly in the center of Chaweng.
