It was an amazing resort! We visited for our honeymoon and when they heard it was for our honeymoon they upgraded us to a bigger and nicer room as well as decorated it accordingly! The breakfast was delicious and was changed daily. The pool was the perfect temp. There was 2 pools the one side was definitely more kid focused as the other was geared more towards adults. The resort was right on the street so everything was very close by. 7/11 was literally a 2 min walk. The staff were excellent and took amazing care of us! If we ever return to Koh samui we will 1000% stay here again

Excellent stay! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The location is perfect, right in the center and close to everything. The hotel also offers a beautiful, spacious private beach, ideal for relaxing. Highly recommended 🌴

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the end of July, we had a great time. Which we booked directly through the hotel website. The room was truly lovely and spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable! Our entire stay, from the moment we arrived until we left, was wonderful. The staff were attentive, kind, and caring, and they even made an effort to get to know our children. The staff really appear to be looking after the place with updates taking place, such as painting and renewing aspects of the hotel. The team works very hard and seems to really care about the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options that satisfied the needs of myself, my husband, my toddler, and my seven-year-old. We enjoyed massages and utilized the amenities such as the gym, kids' clubs, and Thai boxing classes, all of which were excellent. Dream lived up to his name; he was a pleasure to work with and a superb Thai boxing instructor for my husband and daughter. The swimming pools were delightful, and we always found sunbeds easily without any rush or difficulty. The location was suitable, offering convenient access to nearby restaurants and the bustling atmosphere, yet it maintained a sense of quiet and seclusion. It was nice to meet Somchoke, the room division managers when we were invited to the meet the management cocktail party, it was lovely to get to know the team a little better, again you can really tell how much the staff care for the hotel they proudly work for. We would recommend this hotel to others and will be looking to rebook next year for sure

We recently had our wedding at chaweng regent beach resort and we had an incredible experience. Khun Air helped plan our celebration from start to finish. Everything was taken care of from decorations, flowers, music and food. All we had to do was enjoy our day with our family. Khun Air was great at communicating all the way up to the day, and ensured the day ran smoothly. The resort is close to the busy Koh Samui night life, but from the resort you wouldn’t know as it has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We cannot recommend chaweng regent beach resort enough, for a wedding, a family holiday or couples get away. All of the staff were incredibly helpful throughout and were happy for us on our wedding day.

★★★★★ A truly wonderful experience – warm Thai hospitality at its very best I travel extensively with my wife, often visiting different parts of the world every month, so I have experienced many hotels and resorts in many countries. I have to admit that I am quite a demanding guest and I pay close attention to service, cleanliness, hospitality and, above all, how guests are treated. What impressed me most about Chaweng Regent Beach Resort was not simply the beautiful resort itself, but the genuine warmth, politeness and thoughtfulness of the people. The Thai staff are incredibly friendly, respectful and welcoming. Their smiles and little gestures of care make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. There is a special warmth here that is difficult to describe — it genuinely feels like being welcomed into your own home country, among people who truly care about you. I would also like to give special recognition to Mr. Sven, the manager from Switzerland. It was a wonderful surprise to meet someone from my home country working here, but what impressed me even more was his professionalism, attention to detail and the way he treats guests. He clearly understands what international travellers expect while still preserving the beautiful Thai spirit of hospitality. For someone who travels as frequently as I do, it is rare to find a place where the service feels so personal and sincere rather than simply professional. Thank you to the entire team at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort for making us feel so welcome, comfortable and cared for. Your kindness and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. If I had to describe Chaweng Regent Beach Resort in two words, I would say family-friendly. From the swimming pools and connecting rooms to the different activities available around the resort, the hotel feels very well suited for families. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and every request we had was handled quickly and with a smile. The public areas of the hotel are beautiful, well maintained, and give the resort a very pleasant atmosphere. The pools in particular are great, and the overall location and facilities make it an easy and comfortable place to stay. There are, however, a few things worth considering. The biggest issue for us was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. You can easily hear people talking in the rooms or corridors nearby, even when they are not speaking particularly loudly. We could also hear music from nearby bars and parties, which could be annoying if you are looking for a quiet stay. Another small disappointment was breakfast. Breakfast was included in our room rate, but cold coffee was charged separately, which felt a little strange considering this is a five-star resort. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the hotel, especially the beautiful common areas and the friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to families looking for a comfortable and family-oriented resort in Chaweng. That said, considering the hotel’s five-star rating, the overall experience was not quite at the level we expected from a five-star resort.

Been traveling for 5+ plus years overall and this is by far the best value for money resort you can get. Poolside room is what the doctor ordered and Joe Joe at the pool bar knows how to pour an alcoholic beverage. All the staff were very very very friendly and accommodating. Location to Chaweng beach and night life is perfect. We have been here multiple times and it just never disappoints. Highly recommend - photos don’t do it justice.

This is not a 5 star hotel but only 3 star. I paid 366 Euro per night for me and my daughters. We had 1 double bed and a sofa bed! They could not even install a normal bed although there was enough space. Rooms are quite old as well. Wifi was terrible. I slept several times in 4 and 5 star hotels and the difference is huge. Some of the staff are very friendly, others aren't. At the coffee for example they are not friendly at all. This hotel is too expensive, i regret not having chosen for another one. Will not come back.
