We did stay twice for 1 night each time during short trip via Krakow - hotel is in good location (not excellent while still very good) within 10-15 min walk from the walls of Old city. Hotel itself is situated in old building, however completely remodeled. Interiors are very nicely designed in modern classic style and as hotel was only recently open everything is in crispy new condition. As ALL Diamond member I weas upgraded to Suite - and it is just gorgeous - living room with high ceilings, very tastefully decorated with big windows overlooking calm street - so when you enter living room has a WOW effect (pictures enclosed) and separate bedroom with big super comfy bed (pillow menu is included as well), free-standing huge bathtub inside the bedroom and separate en-suite bathroom with shower. Also Suite has 2 W/C as well, wihich is very convenient. Obviously bathrobes bad slippers are also provided. Bathroom amenities - nothing special while good. Being Ukrainian I did have to stay in Krakow a lot for last 4,5 years since war started and so know hotels pretty well, so wanted to mention that for the price they charge for this Suite I can tell you - it's impossible to find sometihng even comparable. It's just super value for money and I hope they will keep the same pricing :) Breakfast - worth separate mentioning - it is kind of a-la-carte combined with limited buffet - you can order form the menu they provide (and they even have egg benedict included - which is very rare for 4 star hotels) and on top they also bring you nice 3 level tray with cold cuts and fruits - looks very nice and posh - lovely touch and breakfast is definitely one of the hotels' highlights. We also did have a dinner in the hotel's restaurant and all was very delicious and adequately priced. Also they offer business lunch from Mon to Fri with fixed price of only 39 PLN (9 Euro) - also a bargain. They also have small gym in the basement - although small, it is equipped with all modern Technogym equipment. Staff is very nice and pleasant - I noticed that some of them probably lacking a bit knowledge of English, however they are definitely doing their best. Wifi is free and of very good quality. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our short stays and can highly recommend hotel to anyone looking for luxurious place for very adequate budget.

This hotel is one of the best hotels within the Accor chain. While the lobby is modest in size, it is beautiful. We were greeted with exceptional warmth by the reception staff, and our room was both stunning and impeccably clean. Furthermore, the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet it is close to a bus stop that offers access to nearly all parts of the city. My experience here truly enhanced my wonderful trip to Krakow, and I will definitely come back!

Disappointing Customer Service Despite Early Cancellation I booked a room for one night at The Crown Krakow – Handwritten Collection in mid-May. Unfortunately, my travel plans changed, and I cancelled the reservation within approximately one hour of making the booking. I later realized that I had selected a non-refundable rate. The stay was still almost two months away when I noticed the charge on my card. Understanding that the booking conditions were technically my responsibility, I immediately contacted the hotel to ask whether any goodwill solution could be offered, such as a partial refund or the possibility of transferring the reservation to another date. What disappointed me most was not the policy itself, but the lack of communication. My written requests remained unanswered. During two phone calls, I was simply reminded of the booking conditions and informed that the matter had been passed to a manager, yet I never received any follow-up. I frequently travel to Poland and often choose it as a meeting point with family and friends. This stay was intended to be a special day with my elderly mother. We have lived in different countries for many years and rarely have the opportunity to spend time together. I had specifically chosen a nice room at this hotel to make our meeting memorable. As a loyal customer with considerable experience staying at Accor properties, I have always had positive experiences in the past. Hotels have often shown flexibility and understanding when unforeseen changes occurred, especially when cancellations were made shortly after booking and well in advance of the arrival date. For this reason, I am saddened by how this situation was handled. While I fully understand the hotel's right to enforce its booking policy, I believe customer care is demonstrated in exceptional situations through communication, responsiveness, and willingness to consider reasonable solutions. Unfortunately, in this case, I felt that customer loyalty and goodwill were not valued. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)

Fantastic! I’m becoming a big fan of the Handwritten Collection hotels. They tend to be in residential neighbourhoods and blend in. This one was beautiful and small in a good way. Breakfast was unique, Anna(Anja?) at check-in was lovely. Breakfast is part buffet, part menu. Not your typical buffet breakfast - again, in a very good way. Lovely and helpful staff. I would absolutely come here again.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Kraków! It is a luxurious, peaceful and charming hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.|The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated in an Art Deco style, while offering all the modern comforts and luxury you could wish for. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.|The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide and varied selection offering something for everyone.|The hotel is located in a quiet and safe area, with a police station right next door. The Main Market Square is about a 10-minute walk away, and Galeria Krakowska is roughly the same distance.|A truly wonderful hotel that we can highly recommend! ⭐️

The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre. We had reserved a room for three people, with breakfast included. The room was spotless, elegant and tranquil. We felt at ease right from the start. A high-quality breakfast is served in a well-appointed breakfast lounge. The staff were very friendly. Great value for money.

What a lovely hotel, close to the city centre, but far enough away to have a peaceful nights sleep. The staff are so friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast could never be beaten. A great location for visiting the city and the surrounding areas. Excellent value for money.

Although part of Accor, this is a smaller boutique hotel. In fact we first walked right by it as it really blends in! The location is great, about 20 minutes walk from the edge of old town. There is a large pretty park next door, a tram out front and the #304 bus to the salt mines is less than a 5 minute walk away. The property treats Accor members very well (we have gold status). We were fortunate enough to get upgraded to a beautiful and huge suite with a charming balcony overlooking the Street. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Keep in mind it's Italian food though! The hotel offers welcome drinks for status members and my wife and I loved our cocktails. Breakfast is also very good, there is a small buffet of pastries, breads and lots of other items. Plus they bring you a huge tower full of fruits, cheese and charcuterie plus you can also order items like omelettes or eggs Benedict as well. We enjoyed it all although by the third morning we made a point of declining the platter as it was too much food and we wanted to try everything! I really have no complaints, the staff were all very friendly and helpful too. We would love to return!
