I spent one night at this hotel and overall had a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I also appreciated how quiet the air conditioning was, which made a big difference for me. The water dispenser in the hallway was a thoughtful and convenient touch. As an IHG member, I later noticed a note in the room stating I was eligible for either a complimentary drink or 500 points. This was not mentioned to me at check-in. After returning from dinner, I stopped by the front desk to ask about it. The receptionist informed me that it should have been offered at check-in and then handed me a ticket. I found the handling of this situation a bit unprofessional. A more appropriate response would have been an apology for the oversight rather than making it feel like I was requesting something extra. It left me feeling slightly uncomfortable, as though I was asking for a favor rather than receiving a member benefit. The complimentary cocktail of the week that I eventually received was also disappointing, as it tasted mostly like syrup with no noticeable alcohol. Overall, it was a good stay in terms of comfort and facilities, but the service issue and how it was handled left a negative impression. I expected better from a Holiday Inn property.

Good, inexpensive 5 star hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, the best I have had in a hotel. The room was very good. Comfortable, but somewhat worn-feeling bed, and very clean. Television channel choices and operation is sub-par. Sometimes the street is noisy at night, especially if you open the window. Convenient to old town and other sights.

Response from the property

Hi, We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed our breakfast and found our location convenient for exploring the city. We appreciate your feedback on the bed and television options, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration. For a quieter stay, we recommend keeping the windows closed at night. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. - The Staff at Holiday Inn Krakow City Centre

We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Krakow! The hotel staff truly made us feel cared for, always serving us with a lovely smile. The location is absolutely perfect - you couldn’t ask for a better, more central spot. The breakfast was very good with a great variety of options. Our room was large, clean, well-maintained, and incredibly quiet.A special thanks to Izabela, who went above and beyond to accommodate all of our booking requests, even though we made a last-minute, same-day reservation. We highly appreciate her efforts and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay at this hotel. Well located within easy walking distance of the Old Town and public transport. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Complimentary tea/coffee and safe provided. Very helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and had a nice meal in the bar. No complaints at all, would 100% stay here again. The only thing to bear in mind is that if mobility is difficult for you - the shower was over the bath and the bath was very deep with no handle/antislip, and so it could be difficult getting in/out if you have problems with mobility.

My stay at the Krakow was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel boasts a superb location merely steps from the Main Square, refined and beautifully soundproofed rooms, and the highest standards of comfort. While the morning spread was utterly delicious, it was the remarkably attentive approach of Mr. Pawel that rendered the experience truly unforgettable. With immense grace and tact, Mr. Pawel instantly recognized my membership in the IHG One Rewards program. He extended an exceptionally warm welcome, ensuring every detail of my dining experience was impeccably attended to. Such keen perception, personalized courtesy, and genuine warmth make one feel not merely valued as a loyal guest, but truly cherished. It is precisely this eye for detail and outstanding service that makes returning an absolute certainty!
