We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour of Costa Rica and it was easily the best hotel of our entire trip. |The rooms were lovely- spacious with 2 double beds, a nice bathroom with the best shower we had in C.R, nice toiletries, a fridge and a fabulous volcano view (that we only actually saw once because of cloud/bad weather but when it cleared it was spectacular). |Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed the freshly cooked omelettes. We ate dinner in the hotel twice and lunch twice. Portions were big and the food was really tasty and beautifully presented. We also felt it was good value for what it was. |The pool is lovely and was never crowded but we especially loved the jacuzzis. There are 6 of them set within the gardens in such a way they can feel very private and individual. We spent many hours day and night (they’re open til 9pm) just relaxing and chatting as a family in the spa which was lovely. |A special mention should go to our fabulous housekeeper who entertained us all with her fabulous towel creations. Thank you for making a special effort!

Very beautiful and peaceful hotel. The rooms were nice and cozy, the pool and Jacuzzi had a great atmosphere (although the lights didn’t always work so we would stumble upon people in the dark lol). I highly recommend the spa as well. It is a little outside of the center of town, but the payoff is that it is very relaxing and great views of the volcano. Included breakfast had a variety of options and an omelette station so bonus points

Our stay at Casa Luna Hotel & Spa was truly amazing. The food was fantastic, the rooms were comfortable, and the location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the Sloth Territory, Arenal Volcano, and the region’s relaxing hot springs.|The hotel is surrounded by natural habitat, and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds. We spotted toucans, colorful songbirds, and several other beautiful species right from the property. It added a peaceful, rainforest charm to our stay.|The staff were very helpful throughout our visit. While there is no WiFi inside the rooms, strong WiFi is available in the common areas. The hotel’s restaurant deserves special praise — the food is truly out of this world, and the WiFi inside the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is served there as well, making mornings easy and enjoyable.|Overall, Casa Luna offers beautiful scenery, wonderful food, thoughtful service, and a perfect location for exploring Arenal. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Casa Luna! The hotel property is beautiful with an amazing garden. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious! The hotel staff are very nice and ready to help. One night we were walking in the garden, we ran into a hotel security, Dimas (hope I got the name right). We asked about animals. Dimas right away gave us a tour and showed us so many animals! We saw sloth, snake, frogs (including the green one), alligator, fresh water crab...all in the hotel garden!!! The garden is a paradise. Inside the hotel property, all we could hear was the sounds of insects, frogs, birds...We are so happy that we stayed at Casa Luna!

This hotel was awesome! The breakfast was delicious. I do have to say our room was filled with mosquitos and bugs and we had to trap all of them and get them out. Also, the wi-fi is horrible from 5 PM-midnight. The reason is they have one wi-fi hotspot for all their rooms and as a technology guy, that is not going to work. Other than that, it was a great experience and near downtown La Fortuna. Just an awesome place! Don't forget they have a nature trail and on it it shows they have their own fishery.

There is a lot of places to choose from in this area. Given it was our first time I cant compare what other local resorts do or dont offer. All in all the stay was amazing, the flora around the hotel is beautiful and there is a lot of wildlife to expereince and explore. We seen 5 different species of frogs, atleast 8 species of birds big and small, we found and learned about fresh water crabs, and all types of different insects. The hotubs and pools were clean and nice. As others have mentioned the breakfast is amazing! If this is your first time coming here your clothes make all the difference. Bring light shirts and shorts that breath well and dry quickly. The rain is come and go so ultimately it is just easier to get rained on and dry out. The weather was plenty warm enough that we never felt cold. We stayed in a suite which I do reccomend especially if youre going to be there a few days. I took away a star on the rooms for two reasons. Our bed was so squeaky on the floor that any movement at all disrupted the whole room. The other thing is they have a nice closet but the shelving is setup in a way you cant hang your items without them sitting on the shelf and being wrinkled or hanging them in front of the shelf and risking snagging your stuff. Our group also wished the hotubs/ lounges would be open later. That being said this area of La Fortuna closes down pretty early everywhere.

I just got back from 6 days in Casa Luna and wish I was back right now! Our favorite place was sitting on the deck and watching the birds. It was great! I loved our room location. We were in 104, so had plenty of plants and some water right out front with the deck. We were also on the 2nd floor so a little higher and more private. Better for viewing the birds. We also got lucky because we were near the restaraunt so wifi was great! I would have been a little concerned in some other places with no wifi and a poor cell phone connection connection. The rooms overall were nice. Pool was good and Definitely enjoyed their warm pools (they were not overly hot) with plants all around them, making it feel secluded. They were small and had about 7 of them, so they could be cozy. I wish they turned down some of their party music by the pool as it really didn't seem to go with the overall vibe, but that is a small detail. We enjoyed walking the property and the small trail that they had. It was a good location where you are not downtown, but within 10 minutes or so of a lot of restaraunts. It was about 30 minutes from Arenal National Park and Mistico. Would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

We had a great stay at Casa Luna! The rooms are fairly simple, but they were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our favorite part was the balcony—it overlooked the beautiful landscaping, and on a clear day we could even see the top of the volcano. The nature trail behind the hotel was such a fun bonus, and we were even able to spot a sloth during our walk! 🦥 The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, with lots of fresh fruit and delicious traditional Costa Rican dishes. We’d definitely stay here again.
