My elderly parents and I stayed at this Hotel Indigo and we had a wonderful time in LiJiang. The hotel is located right outside of the Ancient Town, which is very convenient and quiet. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated. The staff are extremely helpful and tentative. I’d definitely come back again. I’d also recommend going to the evening show at Mu Family Mansion （木府), which is informative and interactive not to mention high quality dancing in this magnificent mansion.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Lijiang. The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully designed, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. Its location is also excellent, with easy access to Lijiang Old Town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring the area. The room was well-maintained, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, allowing us to rest well after a long day of travelling. The shampoo and shower gel provided were of good quality, and the toiletries were thoughtfully and generously provided. What truly made the experience exceptional was the top-notch service from the hotel team. Knowing how tired we were after our long journey, the staff quickly helped us settle in, assisted with the check-in process efficiently, and handled our luggage with great care. Such warm and personalized service made our entire stay extremely heartwarming and memorable. We would highly recommend Hotel Indigo Lijiang to anyone visiting Lijiang and would gladly stay here again.

Great stay at Hotel Indigo. Tastefully decorated. Able to use the Intercontinental amenities next door, including the gym. Pillow menu is appreciated. David was excellent and helpful. The location is good, on a quieter edge of the old town.

This hotel made our stay in Lijiang really magical. Every detail is well thought of - from the toiletries, room amenities, loungewear, to in-room complimentary snacks. The property’s atmosphere was really peaceful and relaxing. It’s in a quiet spot beside Intercontinental (also IHG) with direct street access to vehicle-passable roads, so it’s easy for cars to load/unload luggages. FYR - cars aren’t allowed in the old town, only pedestrians, so the accessibility of the hotel is a plus! The hotel decors were also very artistic and creative, very posh boutique! Service was impeccable, too. Our overall experience was awesome!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo Lijiang Ancient Town. The service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive throughout my visit, and as an IHG One Rewards member I felt well recognized and warmly welcomed upon arrival. I was especially impressed by the hotel’s beautiful garden and its architectural design, which perfectly reflects the charm and character of Lijiang. The overall atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and full of local character. My room was very comfortable, and the entire stay was a truly pleasant experience. Hotel Indigo Lijiang exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable, just steps from Ancient Town with everything within easy walking distance. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable.What really stood out was the service. David, Lydia and the team went above and beyond by holding onto my Tibet permit while I traveled to Shangri-La, which made my onward trip to Lhasa seamless. That level of care and willingness to help beyond standard service is rare and made all the difference.Five stars for hygiene, environment, and service facilities. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang and will absolutely stay here again.
