Had a great stay at LUX Tea Horse Road Lijiang. The hotel is beautifully designed with thoughtful details and quality furnishings that really elevate the experience. The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay.The only downside is that there aren’t many on-site amenities aside from a small coffee shop, and breakfast is served at a separate location about a 5-minute walk away. That said, it wasn’t a big issue given the hotel’s prime location right in the Ancient Town.Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely come back again.

A wonderful hotel staffed by friendly, welcoming and truly gracious employees. The property itself is very well appointed, stylish and relaxing. The food in the restaurant is unique and very well prepared. The tea, exquisite, and our Naxi hostesses were very informative. And yet, the real gem of the hotel is the staff, who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed as their guest.

Came to visit lijiang in may 2020, very few people in general. Hotel service was excellent, candy the hotel manager was beyond helpful from the moment we arrived in the old town. Rooms were well designed with good quality hardwares. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is small but warm. Soundproofing is a bit of an issue for sensitive people but it’s considered better than most hotels in the oldtown due to its secluded location within the oldtown. It was a good experience overall, would totally recommend anyone who wants to explore the oldtown and have a modern place to stay at night.

A really beautifully designed room mixing the traditional with modern touches. I liked the location just at the south end of the Ancient Town in a quiet enclave away from the intense hustle and bustle, making it a relaxing oasis to come back to. Some of the staff spoke very good English, but some of the staff need more training considering the reputation of this brand and that there are a number of Westerners guests staying. I struggled at breakfast to get even the basics like a cup of tea. I’m sure the staff know the English but seem to have a reluctance to engage with it so the stay really lacked a personal touch.

Perry and the entire staff of the hotel made us feel like VIP guests from our arrival through to check out. The room was beautiful and thelocation was great for walking. The hotel’s restaurant was also great. Perry speaks perfect English and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The porch outside the hotel’s cafe is a great place to relax and people watch in the afternoon.

Enjoyed my stay in this Lux Hotel. Clean, big and comfortable. Location is within Ancient City but need to walk at least 5 mins to 10 mins to get to the city main spot. In general, we loved the vibes of the hotel and would stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to transport the baggages from the south gate to the hotel. The breakfast was rich and we could make our favourite from the menu. Location is good and convenient as well.
