Trip.com· 4 months agoMy partner and I stayed at Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa for two nights during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Overall, our experience was mixed.The highlight of our stay was definitely the villa itself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was excellent—one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept on in a long time. We had two very restful nights, and the room provided a peaceful environment to relax after exploring Lijiang.Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel’s luxury branding, price point, or rating. While the property may once have been a premium resort, it now feels dated and in need of renovation. Many of the facilities and amenities appear worn, and the overall condition of the hotel gives the impression that it has not been maintained to the standard expected of a luxury resort.The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The Western selection was very limited and of questionable quality, while the Chinese options were equally underwhelming. Even basic items such as the baozi did not taste freshly made. For a hotel in this price range, the food quality was surprisingly poor and far below expectations.Having stayed at many other hotels across China, including less expensive and less prestigious brands, I have often enjoyed significantly better breakfast offerings and overall value. The dining experience simply does not reflect the premium rates charged by this property.In summary, if you value a large villa and a comfortable bed, this hotel may still be worth considering. However, those expecting a true luxury resort experience, modern facilities, and high-quality dining may find themselves disappointed. The accommodation itself was enjoyable, but the amenities, maintenance, and food quality need significant improvement to justify the hotel’s reputation and pricing.

This is the main reason for choosing my stay here. |-Buffet breakfast is a delight with lots of local specialties - variety of mushrooms, preserved pork ribs, pastries from local grains, fresh soya milk. I ate all meals here. Pullman offers much better quality food than at IHG Lijiang, where I also stayed.|-All-day dining restaurant.|-Very good hospitality from reception (English speaking) and restaurant staff.|-Good and effective humidifier (to be requested). Tea set provided upon request.|Cons:|-So near, yet so far from Shuhe. It's about 1km to the south gate, no shuttle provided. Glad I stayed inside Shuhe before Pullman.|-Rooms need updating.|-Grounds need better upkeep. Overgrown grass makes the resort look abandoned.

Google· Edited 3 months agoScenic and tranquil place away from the hustle and bustle. The room was huge and the hotel grounds were massive. Makes you feel like you're in a period drama!

Trip.com· 4 months agoA standard Pullman hotel - comfortable. Reception staff are friendly & efficient especially Lily. The design is spacious & stylish with clever use of water ponds, but the total greyness & black / dark woodwork gets a bit depressing especially in the rainy weather. A bit of colour would give it a boost.

Trip.com· 5 months agoThe hotel is conveniently located right next to Shuhe Ancient Town, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The king-size bed was very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. While the customer service was acceptable, there is still some room for improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent location and comfortable accommodation.

Trip.com· 5 months agoWe stayed 4 hotels while traveling in Lijiang and found that Pullman is the best one among all. Love everything thing here. Especially the food, everything dish was worth the price. We will definitely visit again.

Trip.com· 6 months agoAfter three busy and hectic weeks traveling around China, this stay was the perfect peaceful and relaxing escape. The majestic snow-capped Yulong Mountains in the background made the setting feel truly magical. Every morning, looking out from the balcony instantly melted my heart.Dinner at the hotel was delicious, the complimentary tea for VIP guests was a lovely touch, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of variety.The staff were all warm, polite, and always smiling, which made the experience even more special. Everything was wonderful, and I would absolutely love to come back. Four days went by so quickly. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
