⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Experience at Protea Hotel Livingstone, Livingstone Staying at the Protea Hotel Livingstone was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my visit to the Victoria Falls area. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Livingstone and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great amenities that made the stay relaxing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely pool area that is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It’s also conveniently located for visiting Victoria Falls and other local attractions. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Livingstone. It’s ideal for families, couples, and anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing base. 🌿🌍 A fantastic place to stay — I would definitely come back again!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Protea Hotel Livingstone! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out - they really went above and beyond. The environment is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful grounds and great views. And the food? That was the icing on the cake! Every meal was delicious and well prepared. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

What a great stay. Staff is awesome. Marriott standard has maintained gracefully. I highly recommend this location. Keep it up. Bravo from GM to all employees. We have enjoyed the stay.

I had a mixed experience here. On the positive side, the room was really nice, comfortable, and very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel grounds are also quite pleasant, featuring nice water fountains and a relaxing outdoor pond area. However, the breakfast buffet was definitely not the best. I found the standard breakfast meat options, specifically the beef and chicken sausages, to be quite unappealing. The saving grace of the morning meal was the dedicated corner serving traditional Zambian food. The stewed chicken and greens were absolutely great and full of flavour. I highly recommend skipping the standard sausages and heading straight for the local traditional dishes instead!

I enjoyed my stay here, I only had one day here which I regret. The rooms where great. Very hotels still have shower caps in their toiletries. That was my best part. The rain shower was lovely. Reception great, breakfast very nice, all around five star service and environment . Great staff, friendly and helpful. I plan to be back when next am in Livingston

We had a lovely experience at this location. After a long and challenging travel day, we arrived quite late and decided to get a drink at the bar before heading to bed. Trymore was our bartender and absolutely brightened our evening. The activity center staff were very helpful in booking excursions for us and the food at the restaurant was delicious. If you’re looking to stay at a Marriott near Vic Falls, I would recommend the Protea.

We had a great 3-night stay with our very well-trained friends at the Protea in early March, during the rainy season. The hotel formed a great base for both visiting the Zambian side of Victoria Falls and the small but mighty national park, where even in off-season, we had plentiful encounters with wildlife. Breakfast was great, as were the treats in the dessert case at the end of the evening! We loved the wild weavers nesting above the entrance to the guest room building. Walking to town center was about 20 minutes, no issue - managed it a couple of times for meals. One note: we flew to Vic Falls on the Zim side and found it pretty simple to get across, touched down 13:30 and were in our room before 16:00. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful hotel with clean spaces and rooms. Food is delicious and breakfast spread is huge lol with plenty of options and never boring. Staff are a 6/10, and request took too long though some tried to engage with guests. Smiling is foreign to most staff maybe absent minded but when a child greets you it's kind to answer back. The activities desk is very organised and professional 👌
