We spent a couple of nights here on our stay in Livingstone. If you are booking a place to spend the majority of your time in your hotel/hotel room, this might not be the place for you. We were there to sightsee and spend as much time with locals as we could. It worked perfectly for us. Very quiet and the staff was super friendly. The beds were very comfortable and comparable to what would be expected at more expensive places. The staff were super friendly to us and were very helpful in booking a booze cruise that was perfect for our budget. As for as the amenities in the lodge...the Mosi beer was plentiful, cold, and cheap! A great catalyst for some nice conversations on the crisp June nights around the pool! And I'll say it again...the staff were awesome!

The ratings say it all. Except that the advertised full English breakfast doesn't exist, and the continental breakfast consists of two slices of white bread (butter and liquid jam are available), eggs and a very small amount of salad. After the first day we brought our own porridge and sausages and the kitchen staff heated them for us, at a price! I can accept the difficulties with electricity and water supply, which are common across the country, but the lodge as a whole was terrible!

Stayed for 4 nights. Room cleanliness is good. No pests or insects that would make stay unpleasant. Staff kept room clean every morning. Food is good and portion is huge. Staff made it a point to knock on door and remind guest breakfast is ready. Location is great. It’s just 10-15 minutes walk to town centre. Overall, place is comfortable and staff are friendly and ready to provide assistance to make the stay comfortable and pleasant.

Situated within the town center of livingstone, the place is nice and comfortable to spend a few days in. Customer service is friendly and the security is on point. The rooms are nice, spacious and have an air con installed. The only drawback was that at the time I stayed here, the kitchen was not operating hence I always had to go into town to grab a meal. Nevertheless I would stay at this place again.

Wifi does not work. Breakfast is horrible. Food is horrible (when they have any in stock). Some of the staff like Tina are very helpful some are not and just plain rude. The bar is not well stocked even simple beers are hard to get. The pricing is very good but I don't think I would advise that you sacrifice the pleasure and tranquility of your visit to this beautiful town for something "cheaper". There are plenty other places that are affordable and will be able to give you a great stay. Value for money= Zero Maybe it was the period I visited but I would not advise anyone to spend their hard earned money here. As there is no excuse at all for lack of service here. Never going back! Stayed December 2016, traveled with family

Friendly staff, the rooms are very clean I was so comfortable with the beddings too. The ordered food was fairly well prepared though nothing extraordinary. The wifi is decent enough while the TV has only 2 preselected channels which can be changed at request. The only bad part is the missing wheelchair entrance to any of the rooms or utility rooms also the cleaning staff seem to be either over whelmed or too slow, I had to wait outside for them to clean my room after 4pm-main late downs. I spoke to one receptionist about this and she not aware it was necessary. Hoping to speak to the owner before I leave...
