Main issues with this location were around staffing and room cleanliness. Was getting ready for bed and when to move the throw pillow there are blood stains on the sheets. Very concerned how this was missed by housekeeping. Brought it to staff attention and sheets were changed though they do not have a manager on-site at night to speak to. The next morning when I went to discuss it with the manager they had the nerve to say well we have no way of really knowing you didn’t bleed on the sheet. A statement like that honestly takes a lot of nerve. The rest of the staff though I will say we’re very pleasant and helpful during the course of stay so hats off to them. Someone needs to be promoted to manager. The rooms themselves were mediocre, old wall ac units with bad controls that roar throughout the night, cheap furniture and low quality beds. Felt more like a motel room. Booked it because it is in a convenient location near LA live, Crypto and the convention center and that they have parking, though $66 a day is a bit steep. Honestly if you want a nice place to stay this isn’t it and there are better places on that same street for around the same price band. Would describe it as a motel 6 with a cheap varnish. Would be hard pressed to stay again.

Our stay at this hotel was okay but not outstanding in any way. The spaces were clean, the front desk staff was polite and efficient, and our room was spacious. However, the interior design feels a little dated — some chunky furniture in gaudy colors isn’t enough to create a modern boutique atmosphere. A small plus was the good free coffee in the café/breakfast room, though the one employee working there on weekend mornings didn't make much of an effort to be friendly or welcoming.|At our request, our room was in a quiet location — we did not experience the loud late night music described by some guests in previous reviews. On weekend nights, we only heard faint bass tones coming from a distance. The windowless bathroom had no functioning fan, so all the humidity always drifted into the room. |The gym, advertised on the website as “newly renovated” and “state of the art,” had several malfunctioning or broken machines, and there was visible water damage in one area om the ceiling. Also, a note inside our room incorrectly stated that the gym was open 24/7 (actual hours are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.). |As for parking, the hotel participates in the same system used by many hotels and private lots in the area, making overnight parking anywhere other than hotel valet impossible. This hotel charges $66 per night for parking, taking ample advantage of that setup.|Overall, this place doesn’t quite live up to its self attributed image of a “trendy boutique hotel.” It would benefit from more careful maintenance, some design updates, and a more consistently professional, customer-friendly attitude. For what the hotel offers, it’s overpriced.

Staying at the E-Central Downtown Los Angeles Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to be right in the center of the action, sitting directly across the street from Crypto.com Arena and L.A. Live. It makes walking to concerts, sporting events, and local dining completely effortless. The rooms are sleek, modern, and exceptionally clean, offering a quiet sanctuary right in the middle of a bustling urban center. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room tech was intuitive, and the large windows provided great views of the vibrant city streets below. Having top-tier amenities paired with a contemporary boutique aesthetic gives the property a very premium feel. The service was excellent across the board. The front desk staff made check-in quick and welcoming, and the valet team was fast and organized. It is an ideal hub for anyone visiting for a weekend show or a city getaway.

Beds feel like rocks! There was only a breakfast menu, no lunch or dinner room service. The phone didn't work along with two lamps not working inside the room. As much as this Hotel cost and charge for parking ($66 per night) they should get new carpet, it's old and faded and very unpleasant to see.

Our room wasn't ready when I arrived (an hour after check-in time). The front desk just shrugged at me, as to say "it is what it is". No apology, nothing. There were other people who had been waiting for their room for longer than I was. The room was finally ready at 7pm. Other than that, I feel like hotel was not worth the price. The location was nice being so close to the Convention Center. It wasn't a horrible stay... it just felt budget. I had the King Executive Suite and I've had better rooms at Embassy Suites.

My son and I went to a Lakers game, so we planned to stay overnight. I booked the room a little over a month ago. The pictures didn't do the room any justice. The view was pretty good. There was plenty of room for 2 people. The service we did have was great. We will definitely be staying in the hotel anytime we are in the area.

Right next to a nightclub that will be blasting music until 3 a.m. I could feel the vibrations of the base as I lye in my hotel bed. Management did nothing to alleviate this stressor. The inclusive breakfast is misleading and actually only consists of coffee. Lastly, the hit me with hidden fees on checkout even though I prepaid my stay. Would not recommend.

Staff was not friendly the entire visit. We were here for a conference and there was a mix up with reservations and instead of solving the problem they continued to tell us what they will not help with. annd every policy they follow. At the end of it we got our room. They gave us two bottled waters and we settled in our room. The next morning I noticed there were no bottled waters to make coffee in the room so I called the front desk asking for water.. The lady told me they ran out of water. I asked about making coffee and there were no bottled water in the rooms. She said they ran out so use tap water. I’ve never been to a hotel where they don’t offer bottled water. On one of the evening returning from dinner I asked the front desk if they received bottled water or were they still out. The man at the desk said we don’t give out bottled water. There’s free water per cup available over near the elevators. The AC would not stay at the same temperature making the room humid, shower head did not turn on so we used a second shower head that aims low at the your body. Hot water at the sink never got hot. Lastly the TV didn’t have WiFi for watching movies. It allowed local shows and news only. We finally checked out early and went over to the Moxy Hotel to end our weekend. Best decision ever.
