It's a very historic iconic beautiful hotel. Front staff is friendly, quick, efficient & accommodating. Interesting photos on the walls. Awesome decor. Spacious rooms, large closet & dresser drawers. Rooms need better lighting, lovely bathroom, blackout curtains, nice desk, comfortable beds, small refrigerator. Desk chair was a bit wonky. Walking into the hotel is like going back in time to a luxurious & opulent place. Very nostalgic & nicely kept.

Everything was okay, but here are my challenges. The electrical hookup in my room wasn't great. There was a desk, but no power outlets at it for things like my computer, phone, etc. That was inconvenient. The room had coffee but no tea, and when I used tea that I had to buy, I had to run water through the coffee maker, which made the tea taste like coffee and left grounds in it. I expected more from Biltmore, as many other facilities for less money do better. A microwave would have been nice. A late checkout, but for a fee, didn't feel right. Again, I expect more from world-class service.

Beautiful hotel! All the common spaces are gorgeous. There are photos of multiple TV shows and movies filmed there. The bar and restaurant are lovely and easily acceptable. The hotel's location is also fantastic - easy access to various restaurants and the highway. Check in was easy and the staff were welcoming. The rooms are decent size for being an older hotel. The bathroom is tiny though. Lack of decent ventilation causes the bathroom to steam up quickly. The bathroom could use updating - dingy tub, weak fan, and no real storage space for toiletries. The room itself is better maintained although the windows need repainting and there's a few tears in the curtains. Tip: For parking I paid with Spot Hero - a garage just one block away was half the price of the hotel. It also allowed in/out privileges so I could easily access my car.

Beautiful old hotel—grand halls, painted ceilings, and the feeling that a knight might walk past looking for the breakfast room. The rooms show their age, but there’s plenty of charm. Come for the history and leave your expectations of sleek modern design at the door. The food and coffee are excellent. Breakfast deserves an unhurried visit. Light sleepers, take note: the windows aren’t great at keeping sound out, and there’s a Latin electronic festival across the square tonight. Old-world atmosphere, possibly with a bass line.

Beautiful old school historic building. Rooms are nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable. Just be ready for the fees with this one. Every hotel has their own menu of fees nowadays, but this hotel had an extensive list. And be aware that 20% gratuity is automatically added to every check at the restaurant and bar. The bartender failed to make me aware of this so I didn't catch it until the next day after I had already double tipped numerous times. I work in the service industry so I know that we rely on those tips. But I think it's shady to not make it clear to your guests when you drop off their check.

Truly exceptional! The hotel, my room and all areas are well kept and clean! The staff is what made my stay the best. Friendly faces, helpful natured & willing to go the extra mile to make my stay smooth. From valet, Alberto met me with warmth and light every time he handed over my key. To the grab and go coffee area, Isabel gave me laughter and company while making my coffee with love and perfection, and to the front desk area where I was greeted with top-tier hospitality by an amazing gentleman that I really wish I knew his name! Overall, one of the best hotels ive stayed at.

Where to start? You arrive at the parking lot and find it dominated by an army of valets whose sole goal is to take your car and make you pay the hefty surcharge. If you refuse, they send you to the top floor (10th floor if you're lucky, assuming it's not full). On top of that, the parking is in an adjacent building, so you have to exit and re-enter the hotel, and even though there's an elevator, you'll still face a flight of stairs. The front desk staff isn't very welcoming, and the first thing they do is put you in some kind of inexplicable queue—but whatever, it's not a big deal. Internet is truly abysmal and constantly drops if you try to use a video streaming platform. Don't forget to check the window disaster: they're dirty, and cold air and noise seep in all the time. The room is Spartan, and they don't have room service—yes, as you heard. Finally, the safes in many rooms are either off or out of battery, but the best part is when you call reception and they say they'll send the "engineer" to fix it. Of course, he doesn't come. You call again, they promise to send him, and still nothing. Exhausted after four calls, you resign yourself to no safe for your entire stay. The pillows are 10 cm high and as hard as they were 50 years ago... In short, not a good experience at all, except for the café Pitchound next door for breakfast, which I highly recommend—it's a really chic French bakery close to the hotel that lets you skip paying for breakfast there. Undoubtedly, its prestige comes from a bygone glorious era, as you'll see in its beautiful and luxurious lobby... but that's where it begins and ends.
