Dear Robert, Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your experience with us. We are pleased to know that you appreciate our team’s welcoming service, the variety of nearby dining options, and the thoughtful room layout, including the convenient placement of electrical outlets. We understand your preference for a room facing the backside of the property to enjoy a quieter environment away from the street noise and city activity. We appreciate you sharing this preference and encourage you to mention it when making future reservations so our team can note your request, subject to availability. You can eat well without leaving the hotel: Openaire, Alfred Coffee, and the Lobby Bar are all on site. For Korean food nearby, BCD Tofu House, Brothers Galbi, Damsot, and DANBI are local favorites. Concerto Bakery Cafe is a cozy spot for pastries and coffee, right next to H Mart. The Grove, about four miles away, offers more dining and shopping options. For a quick bite, there are also Korean BBQ restaurants and casual spots within walking distance in Koreatown.
The Line Hotel sits in the heart of Koreatown on Wilshire Boulevard, a lively neighborhood known for its Korean culture, Art Deco buildings, and all-night energy. You are steps from the Wilshire/Normandie Metro station, with easy access to the rest of LA. The immediate area is packed with Korean BBQ restaurants, cafes, and shops, including H Mart for snacks. The Grove, a popular shopping and dining destination, is about four miles away. For a taste of local life, the hotel's own Openaire, Alfred Coffee, and Lobby Bar are right on site.
From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), take the Metro bus to Union Station, then the D Line subway to Wilshire/Normandie Station, which is steps from the hotel. The trip takes about 55 minutes. A taxi or rideshare from LAX takes roughly 21 minutes. If arriving by train at Union Station, the same D Line subway ride to Wilshire/Normandie is about 12 minutes. The hotel is right by the station, so you can walk straight there.
For an evening out, the hotel itself has plenty: the Lobby Bar serves cocktails and light bites, and there are two nightclubs on site, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Break Room 86, the latter with karaoke rooms. In the surrounding Koreatown, you can find Korean BBQ restaurants and late-night spots like BCD Tofu House, which is a neighborhood favorite. The Wilshire/Normandie Metro station is steps away, so you can easily head to other parts of the city for more nightlife. The Grove, a shopping and dining destination, is about four miles from the hotel, a short drive or transit trip away.
The Line Hotel is a solid base for exploring Los Angeles, with the Wilshire/Normandie Metro station right across the street for easy city-wide travel. Paramount Pictures Studio Tour is 3.0 km away, a short drive or transit hop, while the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is 5.4 km and Griffith Observatory 6.3 km, both reachable by car or metro. For farther sights like the Hollywood Sign at 8.2 km or Universal Studios Hollywood at 9.6 km, plan a longer trip. The hotel's own restaurant, bar, and cafe make it easy to start or end your day before heading out. Koreatown's dining and nightlife are steps away, adding convenience to your stay.
