We enjoyed our stay at the Pergola House and found Lucia to be a very accommodating and friendly hostess. Breakfasts were really great. Wi Fi was good. Room was comfortable. One thing we didn't like was that there was no wall above the door to our room so all noise flowed freely in and out of our room. Also the bathroom light fixture over the mirror should be replaced; it's currently just a clamped on trouble light.

We had a good stay, very comfortable beds and great pilovs! The breakfast was Tasty with large choise of breads, sweets, juices,... The apartments are on a good place, direct in the city center. The building is very old and you can just feel the history inside.

My husband and I stayed at B & B Pergola House from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9. We found it to be perfect for us. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, especially for me, I have a sweet tooth and enjoyed all the pastries, cheesecake, pie. They also have cheese, meat, tomato pastries, Yummy!! Watch out for the ones with anchovies I think, my husband does not eat fish and he bit into one. Poor him. It is round and has a tiny fish tail sticking out of it. We noticed it after he had bit into it. Lucia is awesome, does her best to make your stay pleasant. Pay attention when receiving the keys to the place. We were fine but I did read where someone had locked themselves out. Loved, loved every minute here. Hello Lucia!! I hope your little boys birthday party was great.

I only give 2 stars for the kindness of Lucia, the lady who runs the bed & breakfast. Lucia tries to please the customer, paying attention to his needs. She is a sweet person, with whom you can dialogue willingly. I paid 275€ for 4 nights, I DON'T DESERVE IT. Let's start with the major problems. 1) there is no shower cubicle in the bathroom and every time I took a shower the floor got wet because the carpet was not sufficient; 2) there is no curtain and the shutters are old-fashioned. Besides being difficult to open and close, I always got my hands dirty with dust. So I was always forced to go to the bathroom to change (where there is only a small window); 3) in five days I could only watch TV half a day because the TV does not receive the channels properly. Other problems: 1) the cleanliness leaves something to be desired (I found dust on the cupboard shelves and the toilet brush was not completely clean); 2) I did not feel safe in the evening when I returned to the bed & breakfast because Piazza Romano is a bit isolated and dark, and there is a homeless person living under the portico of the church opposite; 3) if we want to be precise, the furniture on the ground floor is old, it should be renovated; 4) when you have a large suitcase, there is a problem because there is no lift and, above all, the stairs are old and narrow

Wonderful location, great room, and very friendly and helpful host who assisted us with finding the best rate for a taxi that we needed to transport our luggage to our next town while we biked there. I highly recommend the Pergola House.
