Google· 5 months agoReally enjoyed our stay here in Lucca! Centrally located and easy to walk just about everywhere. The property owners were extremely communicative via WhatsApp and the Air conditioning was excellent during this super hot week in Lucca. Great comfy beds too.

Tripadvisor· a year agoWe arrived in Lucca soaked from the rain after three wet days in Florence, planning to stay just one night — and what a regret that was! We wished we had booked all four nights here instead. The room was beautiful, the bed was fantastic, and we were warm and cosy from the moment we arrived. The bathroom was stylishly decorated and had everything we needed. Despite being right in the heart of Lucca, the hotel felt peaceful and tucked away — the perfect balance of central yet quiet. The staff checked us in politely and efficiently, then left us free to explore. Lucca itself is an absolute gem — charming, relaxed, and such a welcome change from the crowds and noise of Florence. We truly couldn’t recommend this place enough. If we return to Tuscany, we will definitely stay here again.

Google· 4 months agoLocated just off the main shopping street in Lucca, this classic Italian style apartment offers a great place to stay. Still quiet despite where it is, the apartment is beautifully decorated and accessorised, air-conditioned, clean and the rooms are cleaned every morning.

Google· a year agoLove the location and absolutely loved our pink room! The bed was incredibly comfy and the whole space had such a cozy feel—two things we’ll always remember. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from a bicycle rental shop and the main street, yet so peaceful and quiet once inside. Thank you, Rebecca, for the warm welcome and your great dining recommendations. In hindsight, we wish we had stayed three nights in Lucca instead of busy, tourist-crowded Florence. We’ll definitely be back—and loving it all over again!

Google· a year agoexcellent location, nicely appointed rooms. visited May 2025. we enjoyed our nights in the red room. there was lots of space for luggage and chairs to rest in. the bathroom was large with nice fixtures. the a/c was unused but it's always a welcome addition. the bedding is high quality and complements the high quality mattress. the host is pleasant and very welcoming. recommend.

Tripadvisor· a year agoI loved my blue room at the top of this beautiful old house. It was an ideal base for my night in Lucca, right in the heart of the old city and Rebecka gave me a warm welcome. It's not a full service hotel and it doesn't claim to be but it is a cosy place with beautiful rooms. The stairs are steep in this old building so ask for a ground floor room if mobility is limited

Google· a year agoA fantastic, clean, incredibly atmospheric, and charming apartment (I stayed in the green room) in the center of Lucca. Very good contact with the owner, close to all the city's attractions. Only advantages, no disadvantages.

Tripadvisor· a year agothe host sent me a message on a day of my arrival that check in should be before 7 pm as they close at that time. I was very surprised, and sent a screenshot of my booking to a host where it says that after 7 pm there will be a self check in. In response the host said that she will allow it only if I pay city tax 3 euro per person with my credit card before I arrive, or i will not be allowed to enter the property. This was so unfriendly and ridiculous. I have stayed in hundreds of guest houses and have never heard anything like that. When we arrived, it was very hot in the unit since a heater was on. I texted the host asking where a remote control for AC is but she never responded. The worst part was driving to the house which is located in old town and requires permission to enter which the host requsted from the city. She sent me the instructions how to enter and exit through the same gates to avoid a penalty but those instructions were poorly written and impossible to follow. As a result, i had to exit via a different gate. When I asked the host to call the city and explain what happend so i can avoid getting a penalty, she refused. The room was nice and clean though.
