My family stayed at this hotel when they came from abroad to visit me and had a pleasant stay. They found the hotel clean, comfortable, and well located, with an amazing breakfast. The reception staff were attentive and professional. In particular, Alisha, who handled their check-in, was friendly and very helpful throughout their stay. It was also nice that she spoke Spanish, which made communication easier for some members of my family. The hotel is also close to the Vrijthof, which can get quite busy during the day, but they still found it a nice place to spend time.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the Serre is a lovely setting where breakfast is served. The spa was wonderful and provided the perfect place to relax, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the treatments we had there. The hotel’s location is excellent and right in the heart of the area, surrounded by charming shops and fantastic restaurants. What truly made our stay special was the staff. A special mention goes to Bianca, who took exceptional care of my husband and me throughout our visit. We had a fantastic experience and would love to return in the future!

We went from one disappointment to the next at this hotel. The most interesting thing is that it was once the home of Mr Hustinx, whose extraordinary life story we were able to discover.|That aside, it was one disappointment after another. A lacklustre, even off-putting welcome. Rooms with such poor soundproofing that we could hear aggressive exchanges taking place elsewhere; night-time commotion on the stairs that kept waking us up; and finally, a breakfast where we were offered the finest things all you could eat, but we felt it was best to hurry – or rather, to hurry very quickly – and get out of there. Finally finding ourselves in the wellness area only to be confronted with children shouting – even though they weren’t supposed to have access – was the final straw. Complaining about this to the management was rather frowned upon, given the status of these people and the length of their stay. In short, a dreadful experience.

We booked for one night and got upgraded from a regular room to a lovely suite. The room was clean with a stunning view and spacious bathroom, the hotel had amazing amenities and the young lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. The one downside was that it was a bit loud (you could hear noises from the corridor and Vrijthof, which is understandable) and the price was also quite steep.

The hotel is in a good location. The room was fairly large. The bathroom is split into two rooms with no sink with the toilet. The hotel is difficult with suitcases as you have to go up or down stairs to get to the elevator. When we arruved we were told where rhe hotel parking was located (25 euros per day or part of day). Turns out there was city parking right acorss from the hotel which we sisnt notice and they didnt tell us.

Fantastic location, good rooms but very limited service. Don't forget to book your breakfast in advance because when the reception is not staffed (which is after 18:00 and no idea when they start in the morning) the waiter will be too busy with serving the two tables (!) To just write down your room number and charge you afterwards. I'd recommend going to a hotel that understands that location is not the only aspect to a hotel.

This was a horrible hotel. The staircase in the room was very difficult to navigate and noisy. The bathroom was downstairs and the room upstairs, not noted on the website. The heat did not work and only some of the lights worked. The staff left and closed the hotel at night, so there were no staff on duty overnight. The worst thing was the noise. It was incredibly noisy in the area and worse because of the holiday market. The loud noise could be heard for miles and went on until 3 am. This was not noted on the website or told to me at check-in. When I brought this up to the staff and manager, they were rude and not helpful. They said it was the guests responsibility to check the local area for noise. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this site.
